One of the classic film series is the Rocky franchise starring Sylvester Stallone. Some movie moments, such as his inspirational speech in 2006’s Rocky Balboa, are still etched in people’s minds. This speech was delivered by Sylvester Stallone’s titular character to his on-screen son, Milo Ventimiglia. In the scene, Milo Ventimiglia’s character Rocky Balboa Jr. bemoans to his father about how hard it is to live in his shadow and be judged by his legacy. The speech still echoes in the ears of fans, including a nine-year-old boy who knows it by heart.

To celebrate ‘Rocky Day’ on December 3, a large group of people gathered outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art at the foot of the stairs, which was made famous by the Rocky films as one of the training grounds for the title character. On this date in 1976, the first film was released.

During the first-ever ‘Rocky Day’ in Philadelphia, nine-year-old Ro Knight from Alabama stunned Sylvester Stallone by stealing the show with an incredible recreation of a famous Rocky Balboa scene. Knight approached Stallone while he was taking photos with fans in front of the city’s famed Rocky statue.

“Let me tell you something that you already know: the world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows,” Ro Knight said, as he approached Sylvester Stallone at the Rocky statue. For Knight and Stallone, the day was undoubtedly filled with sunshine and rainbows. Knight continued to deliver the well-known speech from the film, occasionally with Stallone joining him. After Knight’s approximately 45-second speech, the crowd applauded him like he was Rocky following his victory in the heavyweight championship.

Ro Knight has even met legendary wrestler, Hulk Hogan several times. Ro looks up to Stallone and wants to emulate his style of fusing passion and acting prowess to produce moments that will never be forgotten.
