The 17-second clip was posted on X (formerly Twitter) earlier today (February 25) and includes no verbal dialogue, instead featuring a fast-paced drumming rhythm in between shots of an American Old-West setting.
The adrenaline-inducing beat was accompanied by staggered text which read: “A Kevin Costner Film. The American Saga Begins.”
Horizon: An American Saga will have two parts, with Chapter One being released in cinemas on June 28, 2024 and Chapter Two on August 16, 2024.
The video shared on X shows clips of a star-studded cast including Stranger Things star Jamie Campbell Bower, Dickinson’s Ella Hunt, Luke Wilson and Sienna Miller.

Costner will be not only be starring in the movie but will also take on the role of director for the first time in 20 years. He is currently starring in American drama series Yellowstone, which recently aired part one of its fifth season, but left the series due to scheduling conflicts with Horizon.
The series follows the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in Montana. The cast includes Kevin Costner (as patriarch John), Kelly Reilly (as daughter Beth), Wes Bentley (as son Jamie), Luke Grimes (as son Kayce), Cole Hauser (as ranch foreman Rip Wheeler) and Gil Birmingham (as Chief Thomas Rainwater). It was announced that the series will conclude after the release of season 5, part 2.
