‘They’ve Wrecked The Show’: Another Farmer Leaves And Viewers Are Rolling Their Eyes

“They’re leaving because they’re sick of your editing… the show is such a MAFS trash train now,” one angry, former fan said.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: people watch Farmer Wants a Wife because it’s wholesome.

Between Love Island, Big Brother, Married at First Sight and countless other reality shows where people with terrible judgement get naked on camera, have make-out sessions with strangers and throw glasses of wine in people’s faces, a lot of viewers have had enough of drama.

So when we see a preview that says “Two farmers will leave”, it has us all rolling our eyes.

OK sure, there’s a bit of a temptation to watch; humans are curious creatures after all.

But Dean has already left and been replaced with Todd.

Do we really need more farmers leaving the show?

Apparently the producers think so because tonight we said goodbye to Tom.

Farmer Tom leaves the show

The 22-year-old cattle farmer had his pick of three women, but instead of seeing out the end of the show, he made his choice: Sarah.

“I’m looking forward to having you alone and not worry about anything else,” he said.

“I love you,” Sarah replied.

“I do love you too, Sarah.”

Naaaww. Good luck Tom and Sarah!

Viewers sick of Farmer Wants a Wife editing

Although Tom was leaving because he knew in his heart Sarah was the one, viewers had other theories.

Comments on a recent Instagram post from the show suggested that viewers are tired of the dramatic turn the show has taken.

“[Farmers are leaving] because they are sick of your editing and how you have wrecked the format this year – if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!” one person said. “No one watches Farmer for MAFS-style bitching and drama like you’ve had this year.”

“So well said. Farmer used to be a very good show, this year it has just been a trash train like MAFS. So disappointing,” said another.

One person summed it up neatly. “New show: Farmer Leaves the Farm”.
