Lala Kent is going through an identity crisis after Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. She already felt conflicted about how to navigate the last season, with Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval’s drama eclipsing the rest of the storylines. Now, the uncertainty surrounding Season 12 has Lala questioning where she fits into the greater Pump Rules universe. Is there even a place for her on the show?
Lala’s uncertain future
If you’ve been following along, then you know that Lala has not stopped ranting about VPR since Season 11 ended. From defending her lack of a storyline to shutting down rumors that she’s trying to get on The Valley, Lala has created a full-time job out of podcasting about VPR.
Recently, Lala joined Tamra Judge on Two Ts In A Pod. During their conversation, Tamra asked her about Lala’s reality TV future. What is she going to do if Pump Rules gets canceled? Tamra asked if she’d prefer a future on The Valley or Real Housewives.
“Obviously, if I had it my way, I would go into Housewives,” Lala admitted.
She continued, “I feel like I’m in such a strange space. I don’t feel like I fit into Vanderpump Rules. I don’t feel like I fit into The Valley. But then I also don’t feel like I fit into Real Housewives. I’m kind of in this weird zone.”
This “weird zone” she’s describing is the fact that she’s built her entire adult life inside of a reality TV show. Maybe it’s time to get a regular job like the rest of us, Lala. Either way, her main focus right now is bringing a healthy baby into the world. She made that very clear during the Pump Rules reunion when she said she just wanted to “go bake a baby and have a good life.”
