Home And Away’s Harper Matheson To Admit Feelings For Tane Parata

Home and Away’s Harper Matheson acknowledges her growing feelings for Tane Parata on UK screens next week.

Harper confides in her sister Dana after spending the night with Tane on the eve of his sentencing.

This week’s episodes see Harper and Tane sleep together in the gym, as they both await the outcome of Tane’s baby kidnapping case.

Tane is later offered leniency by the judge, who rules that his punishment will revolve around community service. He’s also ordered to undergo counselling so there’ll be no repeat of his recent erratic behaviour.

With Tane away in the city, there’s no real chance for him and Harper to address their night together and what it might mean for their future.

Harper’s sister Dana realises that she didn’t come home the previous night, so she bombards her with intrusive questions.

Dana gets carried away with excitement when Harper reveals that she slept with Tane, although she soon senses that Harper is troubled over the situation.

Harper explains that she now has romantic feelings for her good friend but isn’t sure whether he feels the same way.

Dana suggests that Harper needs to be honest with Tane, but Harper points out that he’s away for his counselling and it’s a conversation they need to have in person.

The sisters agree to stop talking about the romantic dilemma while Tane isn’t around, but indiscreet Dana can’t resist dropping hints in front of Marilyn Chambers at the Diner.

Harper puts her foot down, warning Dana that she can’t have third parties complicating the situation before she gets a chance to speak to Tane.

With Dana not known for holding back when it comes to romantic gossip, will she be able to keep a lid on Harper’s secret?

Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, July 15 on Channel 5.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
