While the fact remains that there’s just something about those Yellowstone hunks, the ladies that grace the famed series deserve just as much love. These women are tough as nails, fierce and can surely hold their own amongst the cowboys whose company they keep. Here, take a look at this list of our favorite Yellowstone actresses — Which leading lady do you love most?

Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton

We know her, we love her, and truth be told, there’s no one quite like Beth Dutton on TV. Kelly Reilly brings to life the lone daughter of John Dutton, and she’s proven to be tougher than her male counterparts time and time again. One thing is certain when it comes to the fiery redhead — You don’t mess with Beth.

Before the series was headed to Paramount, Sheridan was negotiating with HBO — and they simply didn’t see the vision for Beth.

“‘We think she’s too abrasive,’” Sheridan recalled them saying in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “‘We want to tone her down. Women won’t like her.’ They were wrong, because Beth says the quiet part out loud every time. When someone’s rude to you in a restaurant, or cuts you off in the parking lot, Beth says the thing you wish you’d said.”

Kelsey Asbille as Monica Dutton

Although entirely frustrating at times, there is a toughness to Monica Dutton, Kayce’s wife, played by Kelsey Asbille. She cares deeply for their son, Tate. While she’s spent much of the series trying to keep her distance from the ranch and the Duttons as a whole, she has a love and care for her family that is admirable.

“I had worked with [Taylor Sheridan] before and, you know, I love playing in his world,” the actress told Wide Open Country of what drew her to the role. “So that was the first thing. And then, honestly, probably the fact that she’s a mother. I was also just really interested as well in the relationship with Kayce and Monica. When you have all the odds against you and you keep fighting.”

Jen Landon as Teeter

Jen Landon’s portrayal of Teeter has come to be a fan favorite — How can you not love that accent?! While she’s often served as the comic relief, Teeter has proven her loyalty to the Dutton Ranch.

“There’s something feral and solo and nomadic about Teeter that I totally identify with,” Jen Landon told Truck Camper Magazine. “I think that the Yellowstone Ranch and the bunkhouse boys have been the first time Teeter has felt at home since she lost home, I imagine in her teen years.”

Hassie Harrison as Laramie

The blonde beauty of Yellowstone sparked up quite a bit of drama during her stay on the Dutton Ranch. Jumping from Lloyd to Walker was a dicey move, but the barrel racer was another one of the Yellowstone actresses who brought her all to the screen.

Eden Brolin as Mia

Eden Brolin brought to life the character of Mia, Jimmy’s love interest who also happens to be a barrel racer and friend of Laramie. The end of their love affair was a little bit explosive, especially when she learned of Jimmy’s engagement after they went their separate ways, but with all Jimmy had gone through, things just weren’t meant to be for the two.

Wendy Moniz as Lynelle Perry — Yellowstone actresses

Wendy Moniz captures the poise of governor-turned-senator Lynelle Perry well, and to boot, her soft spot for John was one that we could appreciate. At the end of the day, a friend of the Duttons is a friend of ours!

Piper Perabo as Summer — Yellowstone actresses

Summer earned her spot as one of the most frustrating characters on Yellowstone, but it goes to show that Piper Perabo is good at her job! The environmental activist turned Dutton environmental advisor stirred the pot, but the actress sure did show her skills.

Kathryn Kelly as Emily — Yellowstone actresses

Jimmy meets Emily during his time at the 6666 Ranch, and it isn’t long before the two are engaged. Seemingly the opposite of his previous girlfriend, Emily’s level-headed demeanor was a breath of fresh air.
