Scene For 5th, Final Season Of ‘Yellowstone’ Shooting Monday In Pampa, Extras Wanted

PAMPA, Texas (KVII) — Pampa will make an appearance in the fifth and final season of the popular TV show Yellowstone.

A “small scene” will be shot in Pampa on Monday, Aug. 19. Casting directors are looking for extras who have nursing/medical experience.

The job pays $110 for 10 hours of work.

Pampa is not the show’s only stop in Texas. On Sept. 3, a Lainey Wilson concert scene will be shot in Fort Worth.Wilson, who is a real-life country singer, stars as Abby, a musician, on the fifth season.

The second half of the final season premieres Nov. 10. But the episodes will not include its original star Kevin Costner.

“‘Yellowstone’ was really important in my life. I really loved that world and what we were able to do in five seasons,” said Costner in an interview with the Associated Press. “I only thought it would be one, but did five. I was willing to do three more – five, six and seven – but it just didn’t happen. Certain things were going on and it just didn’t happen.”
