Suri Cruise moved into her Carnegie Mellon dorm with help from her actress mother Katie Holmes as her estranged father Tom Cruise films another Mission: Impossible.

The 18-year-old college freshman was seen with the 45-year-old Dawson’s Creek star on campus of the private research university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania over the weekend.

Meanwhile, her 62-year-old action man father has been busy working on Mission: Impossible 8 after taking part in the Olympic closing ceremony in Paris last week.

Suri and Katie were seen with bags in hand as they made their way up to her hall of residence at the top US university.

The teenager was dressed comfortably as she sported a white top over baggy jean shorts and white sneakers.

She accessorized with a black string necklace featuring a large silver flower pendant and multiple matching silver rings.

Her brunette tresses were pulled back in a ponytail as she accentuated her natural looks with complementary make-up.

Suri seemed in good spirits as she had a massive smile on her face as she pulled along her massive luggage.

Katie donned a beige short-sleeved button down along with relaxed fit blue jeans.

She also had a blue and white long-sleeved shirt tied around her waist as she donned black leather flat shoes.

Katie accessorized with small black designer shades and multiple beaded necklaces.

The Batman Begins star pulled her hair back in a messy ponytail as she went make-up free.

This comes as DailyMail.com exclusively revealed that Suri is starting as a college freshman at Carnegie Mellon University, a private university in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this month.

It seemed to be a long day of moving as the mother-daughter duo changed into different outfits.

Suri switched up her look as she sported a navy crewneck sweater along with tiny denim shorts and black sneakers.

She accessorized with a small black bag and donned white ankle socks.

Her brunette tresses were worn down as they flowed down her shoulders.

Katie donned a pink long-sleeved Polo Ralph Lauren dress shirt with most of the buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up.

She wore the same relaxed fit jeans and black leather flat shoes as she carried along a shopping bag from Anthropologie.

Her move-in day was on Sunday and she will begin classes on August 26, according to the school’s website.

And the child of Hollywood movie stars will have accommodations that are very different than what she is used to in New York City, DailyMail.com can report, as Suri will be sharing a dorm room with another female student.

After moving her daughter into the dorms, Katie was seen back in New York City on Monday.

The actress put on an effortlessly stylish display as she modeled an outfit very similar to what she wore over the weekend for her stroll through a park.

She sported an oversize, linen blouse with the sleeves rolled up and a pair of wide-leg jeans with thin stripes going down the front of both legs.

She wore the same pair of leather flats she wore over the weekend and carried a camel, leather tote bag.

To shield her eyes from the sun, she sported a pair of large, dark frames and threw on a dark blue baseball cap to complete her look.

As she walked, she was seen digging her phone out of her purse and checking for updates — perhaps texts from Suri.

‘Suri wants the full college experience so she is giving the dorm rooms a try and she will have a roommate,’ an insider told DailyMail.com. ‘She is excited for a new chapter in her life.’

Instead of mom Katie Homes’ three-bedroom high-rise luxury apartment, the teenager will be in a bare-bones dorm room.

The biggest dorm facility is Donner house, where first-year residents land. It is a four level mega monolith building with few frills where almost 250 kids piled in over the weekend.

There is also the smaller Scobell House which has a maximum of 88 students and is all female.

One of the highlights of Carnegie Mellon? The campus houses several restaurants that offer cappuccinos, croissants, pasta and smoothies. And there is a state-of-the-art wellness center.

The rooms can be for one person, two or three, depending on need and price.

One of the rooms has two bunk beds which means as many as four students can be crammed in the space.

Most of the dorm rooms offer furniture: there is a single bed with space underneath for storage, a five level chest of drawers, a desk with three drawers and a chair.

Donner House is a traditional-style residence hall consisting of four floors with a large community lounge on the first floor.

Donner is one of the larger communities on campus, consisting of around 240 first-year students.

‘Our size and our love for all things blue have inspired us to adopt the blue whale as our official house mascot. What has a bigger heart than a blue whale? (Answer: nothing.),’ the website states.

‘Despite our size, we boast a very tight knit and caring community with a lot of spirit,’ it was added.

Donner House is located in the Margaret Morrison Avenue Neighborhood.

There are plenty of amenities at the complex like a TV lounge, a study lounge, a recreational area, laundry facilities, and a kitchen.
