Yellowstone’s Kelly Reilly has said farewell to the mountainous region of Montana as she heads down to “the dry heat of Texas”.

Kelly Reilly, famed for her role as Beth Dutton in Yellowstone, has said her goodbyes to the picturesque Montana landscape as she ventures towards “the dry heat of Texas”.

The actress took to Instagram on August 22 to share a snapshot of herself horseback riding with the message: “Goodbye Montana and into the dry heat of Texas, got to spend some time yesterday when not filming on @6666ranch to do one of the things I love most. Thank you Dusty for letting me try out the new saddle!!”

It appears that Reilly’s visit to the Four Sixes Ranch is connected to the anticipated Yellowstone spin-off, currently known under the working title 6666, where she’s been busy filming. Fans were quick to express their excitement in the comments section.

Enthusiastic responses included: “Awesome shot, can’t wait for the rest of Season 5, and happy to hear you’ll be returning to the spin off, blessings”.

Another said: “Can’t wait to see Beth again you’re my favourite on the show!!!” and “We’re gonna miss you Kelly, you and the whole cast but looking forward to seeing what’s in store for us in the series finale,” showcasing a flurry of support and anticipation.

In a previous chat with RadioTimes regarding the spin-off speculation – which suggests that her character, along with Cole Hauser’s Rip Wheeler and Luke Grimes’s Kayce Dutton, will be at the forefront – Reilly remained tight-lipped about confirming any details, reports the Mirror.

“I just care about finishing [the main show] with as much care and as much passion and as much love as I can muster to put into it,” she revealed in March.

“That’s what I care about. I’m sort of prepping for that now [and] that’s my tunnel vision thing that I care about most. And what goes on beyond that? There are discussions, you know.”

“Don’t believe everything you read. It’s just nonsense. But we’re gonna, you know, let’s wait and see. I don’t have an answer right now. But we’ll see.”

Hauser himself spilled to Country Living that the brains behind the franchise, Taylor Sheridan, has epic plans for Beth and Rip’s journey on screen.

“I’m so focused on finishing Yellowstone the way it needs to be finished right now – well, just the show itself. We’ll see where that leads,” he confessed.

“But I know that there’s some stuff on the horizon when it comes to Taylor’s ideas for Kelly Reilly and myself, and some of the other cast. I’m excited to see where he goes creatively with that. But right now it’s just: Let’s finish strong; let’s do the best we can.”
