Big Brother 26: Here’s Who Became The HOH After Tucker’s Eviction

Tucker Des Lauriers had just been evicted from “Big Brother 26” by a vote of 5 to 3 over Angela Murray, as of the 22nd episode. That left only ten individuals in the game, and everyone — except outgoing Head of Household T’kor Clottey — was preparing to compete in the Week 7 HOH challenge. So, who won this important power, and which three houseguests were nominated for eviction?

“Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In the 21st episode, Tucker, Angela, and Makensy fought for survival in the A.I. Arena, where Tucker mysteriously created his puzzle backwards (!) and Makensy narrowly won her second triumph. The house then engaged in a wild scramble, with Chelsie leading the push to eliminate challenge beast Tucker from the competition. Tucker was ousted after receiving five votes to Angela’s three during the live vote. He told Julie, “I knew when people got the shot to take me out, they were going to take it,” and he was correct. But enough chit-chat from last time; it’s time to find out who will win the Week 7 HOH!

Rubina acknowledged to T’Kor in a vulnerable moment that she still loves Tucker after only six weeks. Rubina stated that despite knowing how dangerous a showmance may be, the two of them pursued their feelings.

While everyone else was mourning, Quinn was secretly celebrating his “evil, nefarious” victory against his foe. Then, despite saving herself in the A.I. Arena, Makensy was growing increasingly concerned that a second triumph in that competition would elevate her status as the house’s new “comp beast.”

Kimo and T’Kor recognised that the other side of the house made the best decision for their own games, but having seen Tucker as a shield for their alliance, they also realised that they’d have to win competitions themselves now to maintain their positions in the game.

To select who would take the next seat of power, the houseguests engaged in the iconic chicken coop competition “What Came First.” The first person to move eggs up a fence, through an obstacle ramp, and knock down the letters HOH would be the next head of household. There was also a mini-comp to avoid being the first two players to drop an egg, as the three who did would become the week’s have-nots. Quinn, Kimo, and Makensy were the first three players to drop eggs. Angela chose to hang out by holding one of her eggs until the three have-nots were decided, only to avoid having to eat slop for another week.

T’Kor informed Rubina and Kimo that if Quinn put any of the three of them on the block, she would no longer work with him in the future. Still, Kimo recognised that Quinn may believe that everyone has chosen Tucker over him in recent weeks, which could influence his nomination decision. Later, in a second talk with Quinn, Kimo acknowledged that going up as a pawn concerns him because he has no idea where many people’s heads are. Quinn found it difficult to choose between Kimo and Makensy because it meant either protecting an existing alliance or forming a new one.

Quinn unveiled Angela, Rubina, and Kimo’s digital images as his nominations during the ceremony. He defended his decision by naming all of the names he’s been called, and he begged the house to respect his decision to go after his nameless target of the week, Angela.
