When the neo-Western drama “Yellowstone” premiered on Paramount in June 2018, we all knew that the show would last. Today, “Yellowstone” has five stellar seasons, and even though the show ended in 2024, fans of it shouldn’t be too sad. “Yellowstone” resulted in multiple spin-offs: the mini-series “1883,” which aired in 2021; the prequel “1923,” which premiered in 2022 and will have its second and final season in February 2025; and the upcoming spin-off “The Madison,” which is set to air sometime in 2025. Additionally, a few other spin-offs have been teased: “1944,” “6666,” and a currently untitled Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler show. With all of this in the works, the “Yellowstone” universe is far from sunsetting.
Of course, a big reason why the flagship show and its spin-offs are major hits is their talented casts, all of which have had incredible leading ladies. Country star Faith Hill may not be the first to come to mind when someone mentions the “Yellowstone” universe, but we can’t forget that the “This Kiss” singer is in the prequel “1883.” Hill tied the knot with fellow country star Tim McGraw, who stars alongside her in the show, in 1996, and the two have been happily married since. “She’s standing there, and we’re talking, and I said, ‘Look, let’s get married,” McGraw revealed in a video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, in October 2021. “And she says, ‘You’re asking me to marry you at a country music festival in a trailer house?’ And I said, ‘Well, it’s pretty apropos if you think about it.’ She goes, ‘Are you serious?’ And I said, ‘Well, yeah, I’m serious.'” The two met in the country capital of the world — aka Nashville, Tennessee — in 1994, but at the time, both were dating someone.
