Steve Burton and Michelle Lundstrom are taking the next step in their relationship, surprising the fans who were excited.
After dealing with the unhappiness of divorce, General Hospital’s Steve Burton moved on. He and his girlfriend, recipe creator Michelle Lundstrom, got engaged in early January, and fans were happy for the couple. They seem to be taking things at a steady pace that’s not too slow and not too fast. Now, Lundstrom has announced the next step in their relationship.
California Is the Place They Ought To Be
Lundstrom shared quite a few pics and one video in an Instagram post, writing, “48 hours in #theoc 🥹 I’m walking on sunshine no matter how many boxes are left to unpack. Thank you for all the well wishes on our move to California! My @traegergrills are unloaded and ready to rock. NEW weeknight meal recipe coming real sooooon! Expect lots of #highproteinrecipes too!💪🏼 Sending so much love ❤️👋🏼.”

Barbecue master Chuck Matto chimed in with, “Congratulations and welcome to California 🙌🏾,” and Lundstrom replied, “@chucksflavortrain thanks so much Chuck!!” The first photo attached to her post was a nice shot of Lundstrom and Burton kissing on their new porch that overlooks the ocean. As the sun sets on the horizon, the two are mostly silhouetted in a beautifully composed shot.
Life Handed Them a Lemon (Tree)
Lundstrom’s post featured more great pictures, including some amazing shots of the Pacific Ocean, a top-down look at their illuminated pool and hot tub, and a grill with a spectacular ocean view behind it. There were also some great snaps of their gorgeous new home, but there were just little tidbits to tease the fans, like a cool dragon statue in their garden.
Even a lemon tree grows on their property, as depicted in her video, making the place truly unique.
The tree wasn’t overlooked by fans as one wrote, “Michelle, absolutely stunning!! I am so happy for all of you. The ocean, the view, the lemon tree?? OMG, I wish you many wonderful, happy, healthy years!! Thanks for sharing. Love from Queens, NY 💛💛.” Lundstrom happily responded, “@tete1057 yes, the meyer lemon tree has me super happy 🥹 thank you!!”
