Valentin’s Life Is On The Line After Poisoning Carly On March 17 General Hospital

What an ending!!

It’s a very unlucky St. Patrick’s Day in Port Charles after Carly’s poisoning led to a life-threatening encounter for Valentin on the March 17, 2025 episode of General Hospital.

From Afterglow to Lights Out

After hitting the sheets with Brennan (Chris McKenna), Carly (Laura Wright) was treated to a surprise delivery of champagne to Brennan’s room. She downed an entire glass before Brennan even got out of the shower, but when she began her second, that was when Brennan noticed the fake label and knocked the glass out of her hand.

While Carly passed out after falling ill from something that was most definitely not champagne, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) listened from behind the closed door, instantly remorseful for the poisoning getting to Carly rather than his target.

Poison Patterns

When Brennan got Carly rushed to GH, she was treated by Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), who was shocked to see her mother-in-law being rolled into the ER. as they worked to get an unconscious Carly stable, Brennan called the only person he knew he could trust in this situation: Anna (Finola Hughes). By the time she arrived, Brennan learned that what Carly was poisoned with was polonium.

Longtime GH viewers may remember another polonium poisoning in Port Charles when Luke (ex-Anthony Geary) and Jerry (ex-Sebastian Roché) were both injected with it. The poisoning led Luke to leave town to find a cure, just to return as “Fluke,” a result of Luke’s dissociative identity disorder.

While Carly fought for her life at GH, Valentin broke into his old house to retrieve new IDs and passports for himself and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). But what he wasn’t expecting to find was Sonny (Maurice Benard), who appeared holding him at gunpoint.
