Jeremy Renner’s Dating Advice For His Daughter
Hollywood star Jeremy Renner’s journey to the top in Hollywood was paved with many interesting experiences including working as a makeup artist at the beginning of his career. The American Hustle actor was also a ladies man by his own admission. Renner though, admitted that he will have a completely different set of rules for his young daughter.
In an interview with Elle in 2013, just after the birth of his child, Renner was asked about life lessons that he would teach his daughter including advice regarding dating boys when she grew older. With 2 succinct words, the actor conveyed his message by saying,
“Stay Away”

Jeremy Renner Was Initially Displeased With The Character Arc Of Hawkeye
One of Jeremy Renner’s most lucrative and significant acting gigs came with the Marvel franchise when he was cast as Hawkeye in 2011’s Thor. While the character started with lesser impact, Hawkeye’s arc grew gradually but surely through the MCU. Renner though, was initially not able to feel the nuances of his character and his importance in the early stages.
Speaking of Hawkeye being treated as predominantly Loki’s minion in the film, the Oscar nominee expressed his regret on being cast in a role that did not seem to have any meat. In an interview with The Independent, Renner was quoted saying,
“I just had a heart attack in every scene. I’d just be walking with Scarlett Johansson and just be like ‘Ugh!’ and they said ‘What are you doing man?’” I said, ‘I’m giving you an option, if you just want to kick me out of this movie. Just you know, at any given moment, if you wanna kill me off, daddy’s gonna be having a heart attack’.
Fortunately, the actor was proved wrong and was rewarded for sticking with the role. Ultimately, Hawkeye’s part was elaborated further through the MCU with Renner getting a meatier arc in future films including Captain America: Civil War in which his performance received critical acclaim.
