Aimee Garcia, known for her roles in Lucifer and Dexter, will soon be back on the small screen. According to Deadline, the actress has been chosen to appear as a recurring character in the series Criminal Minds.
Iconic CBS program for 15 years (2005 to 2020), the series made its return in 2022 on Paramount + under the name Criminal Minds: Evolution, and will soon begin its 18th season, its third under its new name. On this occasion, we’ll be able to welcome Aimee Garcia to the credits of the show, which stars Paget Brewster and Joe Mantegna.
Over the course of a multi-episode arc, Aimee Garcia will play the role of Dr. Julia Ochoa, one of the country’s most renowned neuropsychiatrists, who is tasked with helping a high-profile patient recover from a traumatic brain injury. She comes into conflict with Alvez (Adam Rodriguez), who believes in a more aggressive approach than her own.
Currently in production, the 18th season of Criminal Minds will see the return of Joe Mantegna, Paget Brewster, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Zach Gilford and Ryan-James Hatanaka.
