Week 10 in the “Big Brother” house ended Thursday night, with Angela Murray following her bestie Leah Peters out the door as the second victim on double eviction night. After Chelsie Baham edged out Angela in a Head of Household competition tie-breaker, Angela was put on the block next to Kimo Apaka. Just minutes later, Kimo won the Veto competition, pulled himself off the block and was replaced with Rubina Bernabe. Next, Makensy Manbeck, Cam Sullivan Brown and Kimo voted unanimously to evict Angela. The 51-year-old real estate agent from Syracuse, Utah became the 11th houseguest evicted from Season 26 and the fourth member of the jury.
“I’m a threat, Julie!” she exclaimed during her exit interview with host Julie Chen Moonves. “They made the right choice. I would have won this show! I would have frickin’ won this show! One hundred percent!” When asked who she would have taken to the end, Angela quickly responded, “Kimo! Because he’s my boy!” When asked if she could have beaten Kimo in the end, Angela admitted, “I would have been okay either way. Kimo or myself.”
Angela could barely contain her emotions throughout the interview, stating, “I came here to find out who the hell I am! I know who I am as a mother, a wife. I know who I am as a daughter-in-law and a friend. But I didn’t know who I was on my own. Coming here, I figured out I’ve always known who I am. I’m strong, I’m resilient, I’m a fighter, and I’m going to continue that the rest of my life! I didn’t need to come here to find that out, but I did. I’ve always had it all along. All along, Julie.”
When asked if she’s always so emotional, Angela responded, “No! I’m not a crybaby, I promise. This house just does something to you. I found friends and family in there, and I found daughters and sons.”
Angela will now join Leah, T’Kor Clottey and Quinn Martin in the jury house. They will help decide the winner on the October 13 season finale.
