The Vanderpump Rules cast member revealed why watching all of Season 11 beforehand wouldn’t have “changed” anything.

Ariana Madix admittedly didn’t watch Vanderpump Rules Season 11 because she was trying to focus on her Chicago role amid her first run, but, now that the reunion has officially wrapped, she’s revealing whether it would have made a difference.

During an appearance on the May 29 episode of Katie Maloney and Dayna Kathan’s Disrespectfully podcast, Ariana reflected on the Season 11 reunion, and if she would have “changed” anything about how she approached certain moments with her fellow castmates.

“There’s actually some people who were like, ‘Oh, I wish that she would have watched the whole season because she would have been coming in guns blazing with this person or that person,'” Ariana told her business partner and the Vanderpump Rules alum on the podcast. “The thing is, I wouldn’t have.”

Why didn’t Ariana Madix watch Vanderpump Rules Season 11 before the reunion?

Ariana justified her decision by noting that she “saw plenty of clips online.” Plus, when the reunion filmed in March 2024, Ariana was in the throes of her first stint in Chicago. As a result, she didn’t feel a need to get into a lot of the minutiae with her fellow former SURvers.

“I was doing my best to show up, but, at the same time, it was like, I just don’t have that strong of feelings about — like I don’t think it would have changed anything about how I responded to things,” she explained. “Because I also was like, ‘I really don’t feel — even if I feel deeply about something, which you do see me talk about the things I felt strongly about — but other stuff, [I was thinking,] ‘Am I really gonna sit there and correct every little lie and interject the whole [time]?’ No, I’m kind of like, ‘If they want to do that…'”

The Something About Her co-owner didn’t find it important to fire back at some of her castmates for one major reason.

“I’m at a point now where if something’s changed for me as a person over my almost 39 years, is I’ve become a little bit like, ‘What you say about me, you can think that.’ I don’t care. ‘Cause it doesn’t really change my life, or it doesn’t change who I am if you really think that about me. Especially if you’re not a part of my life, really, on a day-to-day basis. So, it’s like, most of what’s being said, I could sit there and I could correct it, and be like, ‘Actually, no,’ and get into it, but it’s like for what? Or for who? Who would I be doing that for?”
