Born and raised in Queensland, Wrigley – a singer-songwriter and guitarist – has described himself as “a fella that always sings,” per an interview with The Wrangler Arena.
Sharing that he grew up listening to multiple styles of music, it was country music that he gravitated to the most, citing songs that his grandmother played for him as the music that spoke to him the most. Two of his biggest heroes are legends – Johnny Cash and Elvis, with Brad Paisley a later discovery he fell in love with as an artist.
Wrigley released two strong singles in 2022 – Further To The Land and Rain On The Roof, with the former written with Allan Caswell and acts to tell Wrigley’s story.
Last year, Wrigley auditioned for the 2023 Groundwater KIX Start Competition with his song, Cause I Did. You can watch him performing an acoustic rendition of the song below.
Last year, Australian singer Taylor Moss appeared on Farmer Wants A Wife with a performance of What Am I Gonna Do?
Ahead of her performance, she said, “Welcome to the country ball, guys. My name is Taylor Moss, [and] I’m your entertainment for this evening. Put your dancing shoes on, and let’s have some fun.”
Moss isn’t the only one who’s performed on Farmer Wants A Wife; Casey Barnes appeared on the show back in 2022.
