Big Brother 26 houseguest Angela Murray’s supervisor has denied that she has been dismissed and dubbed the program “fake” amid rumours that the feisty participant is a production plant. Angela, a 50-year-old real estate agent, mother, and grandmother who lives in Syracuse, Utah, has received harsh criticism for her outbursts in the Big Brother 26 house. Angela’s anxiety that her alliance The Collective was following her, as well as her now-infamous outburst against fellow houseguest Matt Hardeman, during which she referred to him as “Crazy Eyes,” led some to believe that her behaviour had an impact on her actual employment.
Angela’s boss at Utah’s Elite Realtors, Liz Sears, defended her in an interview with TMZ, claiming that she’s playing a part on Big Brother 26 that doesn’t reflect her real-life personality. Liz stated she was “dumbfounded” by how many people don’t realise reality TV is “fake.” She thinks it’s strange, hilarious, and sad that so many people wanted to attack Angela through her employment. Liz also revealed that Angela is a great Big Brother fan, and her shenanigans are part of her game. She described Angela as nice, compassionate, brilliant, witty, and entertaining in person.
Some followers discovered that a link to Angela’s profile on her company’s website had been blocked, leading them to fear she had been sacked. However, Liz clarified that Angela had not been fired, and she deleted the link because Big Brother 26 viewers were assaulting the site with negative reviews, abusive comments, and constant phone calls. She went on to say that this created a huge distraction within the organisation, wasting the time of other realtors. Liz has since brought Angela’s page back online.
It’s odd that Angela’s supervisor feels her behaviour on Big Brother 26 is all part of the game. This would support the hypothesis that Angela is a producing plant. Her week 1 tantrum was so extreme that it didn’t seem real. Her nasty behaviour has caused so much havoc that some have even asked for her expulsion from the Big Brother 26 house due to her mistreatment of Matt.
During the first two weeks of Big Brother 26, Angela moved from Head of Household (HOH) to being on the chopping block. It will be interesting to see if she can keep her cool after how she behaved while she was in charge. If Angela does not win the Power of Veto, she will have one more chance to rescue herself in the BB A.I. Arena, and if she fails, she will most likely be evicted. If Angela truly is a production plant, Big Brother 26 might be better off without her and her antics.
