Big Brother season 26 aired a brand new episode this week on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. During the segment, Angela, Quinn, and T’Kor got into a conflict after Quinn told T’Kor something Angela had said to him in confidence.

While this caused a huge disagreement between the female cast members, Quinn initially stated that he was just trying to look out for the two, which prompted a conversation about people of color in the show and how Angela’s “blanket statements” could hurt them.

The cast member started crying, which is when Quinn revealed that he was “fully scheming” when he told T’Kor about Angela’s “That’s the group” comment. Fans of the show took to social media to react to the segment, and although some criticized Angela for crying while in conversation with T’Kor, others criticized Quinn for portraying Angela in a negative light.

One person wrote on X:

“Quinn weaponized black people’s feelings to get Angela to be viewed some kinda way. Y’all missing the big picture. He’s the villain. And GIGGLED in the DR. #bb26”

Quinn is the villain in this situation #bb26,” a fan commented.”Like the WHOLE situation don’t sit right we me. Angela taking T’Kor’s comment the way she did. Quinn rubbing his hands together like a villain in the DR to a fight based around race that HE facilitated. This is so dumb #BB26,” a tweet read.

Big Brother season 26 fans felt that Quinn was “calculated af”:

“you cannot edit or manipulate Quinn literally saying out of his own mouth that he only ratted out Angela to make her into a bigger target and stir the pot.. He didn’t do it because he’s a “good person” he did it because he’s calculated af #BB26,” a person wrote.

“Quinn was closed to Angela if he thought she meant something racist he could have approached her but instead went & lied on her, he knew Cam, T’kor, Chelsie, Rubina, Kimo & Rubina are all POC so he wanted to stir the fire. He was wrong for that #BB26 #BigBrother26,” a fan commented.

“ME AFTER WITNESSING QUINN MAKING THE ANGELA SITUATION AS A WHOLE RACE THING AS GAMEPLAY…………EVERYONE WHO IS STANNING QUINN RN……..GET OFF THE QUINN TRAIN RIGHT NOW!!!!!! #BB26 #BigBrother,” a tweet read.

Big Brother season 26 fans further said:

“but Quinn admitting that he was being messy, “nefarious” in his words, and knowing the racial element of the group + Angela and trying to stir up drama is legit not cool…that is exhausting for the Black people in the house and I’m not with it, tbh. #BB26,” a person wrote.

“How’s Quinn race baiting when he repeated exactly what Angela said? If anything it’s LF cuts making the situation worse because we have to rely on edits instead of the truth. #bb26,” a fan commented.

“I was being a nefarious guy” – Big Brother season 26 star Quinn chimes in on Angela x T’Kor feud

In Big Brother season 26 episode 7, while in the kitchen, Angela Murray pointed out a group of people to Quinn and said “That’s the group.” In a confessional, she explained that she needed to let the latter know who “these people” are so they can work with them. Upon seeing who Angela was referring to, Quinn said in a confessional:

“What I’m getting from Angela is that the group out at the hammock is one we need to worry about.”

The houseguest added that the problem with that strategy was that he was working with all of them, including T’Kor, Cam, and Chelsie. He added that Angela had a habit of “blowing things up” and called her an “alliance destroyer.”

Quinn told T’Kor about the conversation which upset Angela and she wanted to have a private conversation with the Big Brother season 26 cast member. Once they were alone, she asked Quinn what he said and with whom he spoke to.

Soon after, T’Kor also joined the conversation and she and Angela got into a disagreement about Angela’s choice of words. T’Kor tried explaining to the Big Brother season 26 participant the racial undertones of her statement and the latter started crying.

Seeing the events unfold, Quinn said:

“Two things can be true at once, you know? When I told T’Kor that information, my intention was for her to smooth things out so that we don’t get into these public call outs. But at the same time, I was scheming. I was fully scheming, I’m a nefarious guy.”

Big Brother season 26 fans reacted to the segment online and criticized Quinn for his part in the disagreement. They felt he intentionally weaponized “black people’s feelings” and painted Angela in a bad light to get ahead.

Big Brother season 26 will air another episode on Thursday, August 1,
2024 on CBS.
