Kevin’s Yellowstone Salary Is Huge (and Contentious)
In 2022, Variety reported Kevin was making a whopping $1.3 million per episode of Yellowstone. And thanks to his recent child support hearing with Christine, we know a lot more about how his payments on the show work.
According to People, Kevin said there was “long, hard-fought negotiation” about splitting Yellowstone season 5 into two halves and claimed he changed his schedule on Horizon: An American Saga so he could shoot the first half of the season. He also noted he was set to receive $12 million for each part of season 5 and “will probably go to court over” getting the second half of that payment. He reportedly earned $19.2 million for the fifth season, and if by some miracle a sixth season is produced, he’d be making $1.5 million per episode. So, if the math is mathing… that’s $24 million for the entire season.

Kevin Is Paying Over $60,000 a Month in Child Support
A huge amount of money, but it’s honestly a fraction of what it could have been. Kevin had previously been paying his ex-wife $129,000 per month in child support for their three kids, which was just recently reduced to $63,209.
His Average Monthly Income? Truly Staggering
Kevin’s monthly earnings came to light amid the divorce hearing between him and Christine, when his lawyers revealed, via Entertainment Tonight, that his “average cash flow for the 30 months ending June 30, 2023” was $1,308,920 per month. His accountants noted this was with Kevin’s Yellowstone salary being taken into account—and that without it, his monthly income during the same time period was $468,136 per month. (Obviously, his accountant was arguing that Kevin’s Yellowstone salary shouldn’t be factored into future child support payments.)
