Clint Eastwood is widely recognized as an enduring cultural icon of masculinity due to his image of having several face-offs in his filmography career. Having contributed a lot as a director and actor in the American film industry, he further escalated his reputation in fans’ hearts. It happened when his son, Scott Eastwood shared a badass moment of his father in a difficult situation.

Eastwood Jr. once took to Instagram to share about his father’s working ethics when a fire blazed one of his sets in 2019.

Clint Eastwood Refused to Leave Film Set Despite Fire

Back in 2019,
Clint Eastwood‘s son, Scott Eastwood shared a serious incident on his Instagram account when a Barnham bush fire approached the Warner Bros lot at Burbank in Los Angeles. Due to the severity of the incident, evacuation requests to leave the site were made by the authorities. The former was also asked to vacate the premises where he was working but he chose to pay no heed to it and continued working because the work was still not done at the time.

Taking to Instagram, the 37-year-old actor wrote,

“Security told us to evacuate the studio. But my 89 year old father said. ‘No were good, There’s work to be done.’ Then we went into the mixing stage and all watched his new movie @richardjewellfilm As he would say, get back to work and shut up.”

The Project in Question Was Cry Macho!

When the bush fire happened, the filmmaker was working on his project, Cry Macho which was a neo-Western drama film that was based on late N. Richard Nash’s 1975 novel of the same name.

Starring as a lead star in the film, he sets on a journey to bring a man’s young son home and away from his alcoholic mom. Despite their hard work, the film was unable to impress the viewers which underperformed at the box office grossing $16 million. It received mixed reviews from film critics however it was praised for its visuals and score.

While the Gran Torino star’s acting drew polarized responses, a source close to him shared with RadarOnline how his absence in Hollywood for a while has concerned many around him.

“Clint has always enjoyed great health and been vital and active despite his advancing age, but the fact that he hasn’t been around as much lately has a lot of people in Hollywood worried about him.”

His appearance in the project was his last work to date but he has no plans to take a step back from his glorious career. He will keep on coming up with projects for his audience.
