(KRON) — A mansion once owned by acclaimed actor Clintwood Eastwood just hit the market. The Carmel-by-the-Sea property is listed at $21,000,000, according to a press release Tuesday from Coldwell Banker Real Estate.

The 11,400-square-foot property has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. It is a gated property one street away from Carmel Beach with a view of the Pacific Ocean. It is located at the intersection of San Antonio Avenue and 9th Avenue. The indoor living space is listed to be about 4,500 square feet. The three-story mansion has a two-car garage.

The property was built 100 years ago in 1924 and was rebuilt by the current owner in 1998, according to Coldwell Banker. Eastwood lived at the mansion from 1981-1996 when he served as Carmel-by-the-Sea’s mayor.

Eastwood, 94, has ties to the Bay Area as he was born in San Francisco. He served as Carmel-by-the-Sea’s mayor from 1986-1988.

According to Zillow and Redfin, the ex-Eastwood mansion at $21 million is the most expensive on the market in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

“My family has loved living and entertaining at this iconic property for nearly three decades. Right after we purchased the home, we rebuilt the interior spaces, adding in an Arts and Crafts style by installing Mahogany wood finishes, Cherry wood floors, and other elements that were interesting to me,” current homeowner Frederick M. O’Such said in a news release. “It is time for the next owner to enjoy this historic home and share it with their friends and family for years to come.”
