Did Brennan Frame Jason For Cyrus’ Death On February 24 General Hospital?

The coverup gets messier and messier.

While Port Charles reels over Cyrus being the digitalis murderer, there’s only one suspect in mind for Cyrus’ disappearance on the February 24, 2025, episode of General Hospital.

Number One Suspect

After discovering the clean cabin and zero sign of Cyrus (ex-Jeff Kober, who dished on his GH exit), Anna’s (Finola Hughes) number one suspect in his disappearance was Jason (Steve Burton). At Bobbie’s, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) kept it cool but wanted to pick Jason’s brain about something in private. Before they got the chance to talk, Jason was called down to the PCPD.

Joss whipped up a story about the night before when Trina (Tabyana Ali) asked how her Valentine’s Day was after she left to see Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). She said she went to Dex’s (ex-Evan Hofer) empty apartment and got so upset that she trashed her phone. It wasn’t until Felicia (Kristina Wagner) came in that Joss managed to get some information on the case, learning that Jason was the prime suspect.

Framed

In the interrogation room, Anna immediately asked why Jason would betray her, to which Jason had no idea what she was talking about. When she explained Cyrus was missing and the cabin was swept clean, he promised her he didn’t do anything. Anna believed him. That is until Chase (Josh Swickard) arrived with the forensics report that revealed two hairs matching Jason were found.

“I was never at Cyrus’ cabin, and I can prove it,” Jason tells Anna in the video preview for the February 25 episode. Of course, Jason’s only alibi is Drew (Cameron Mathison), having gone to see his brother in a failed attempt to make peace. With Drew’s determination to get revenge on Jason, he most likely won’t confirm his brother’s alibi.

Do you think Brennan (Chris McKenna) planted Jason’s hair in the cabin to frame him? Let us know in the comments.
