Farmer Wants A Wife cast member Nathan Smothers put out a PSA, putting a lot of his critics on notice. One of the biggest things viewers have been harping on all season is how young Nathan is. He clapped back at all the negativity surrounding his age.

Farmer Wants A Wife: Nathan Smothers The Youngest Farmer In Season 2

When it comes to Farmer Wants A Wife, the entire premise of the show is farmers ready to find their wives and settle down. Naturally, that means a lot of the farmers are older, at least in theory. Farmers like Ty Ferrell are 42. Mitchell Kolinsky is 27, while Brandon Rogers is 29.

That leaves the last, and youngest farmer, Nathan Smothers. He may have the look and the scruff of someone much older than him, however, farmer Nathan is only 23 years old. This has worked against him in many ways all season long in Farmer Wants A Wife episodes, with many discrediting him because of his youth.

Farmer Nathan Has Been A Target Because Of His Youth

All season long on Farmer Wants A Wife, viewers have slammed Nathan because of how old he is. Many viewers don’t think he is ready for marriage and everything this entails because of his age. When most people think of a 23-year-old, a lot of people think of someone who just wants to party or hook up.

Of course, as Farmer Wants A Wife viewers know, Nathan grew up fast after the loss of his dad. However, even some of the ladies on the farm believed he was too young to want something serious and settle down. He may only be a few years younger than Mitchell and Brandon, but, Nathan has certainly gotten the most flak because of his age.

Farmer Wants A Wife: Nathan Smothers Claps Back At His Haters

Nathan Smothers put out a PSA online to everyone who has been throwing him under the bus for being 23 years old. In a short clip, he said that one of his “biggest pet peeves” is when older generations tell him how young he is, and how he has plenty of time to figure things out.

The way Nathan sees it, he gives it his all when he wakes up every day because not everyone is “promised tomorrow.” Losing his dad the way he did at such a young age, he knows from personal experience what that can do.

In response to people warning against burnout, Nathan said: “Well, if I don’t burn myself out, how am I gonna know if there’s any room left in the tank if I don’t give it 110 percent?”

No matter how much hate he gets from podcasts, viewers, or somewhere else, Nathan Smothers is living his life with no regrets, and making sure that he leaves it all out there when the day is over.

Despite the hate, many Farmer Wants A Wife fans are rooting for Nathan, with many hoping he finds his happily ever after with the Season 2 finale coming up.
