Farmer Wants A Wife Participant Leaves Show After Accusing Matt Of Sneaking Around Off-Camera: Their Story Isn’t ‘Adding Up’

Farmer Matt Warren’s character is being called into question.

On the April 10 episode of Farmer Wants a Wife, the women grew suspicious when Halleh, 29, wasn’t in her room when they woke up. Later that morning, Rachel, 25, suggested Halleh and Matt might be seeing each other off-camera.

“My gut feeling is that, maybe, she was probably sneaking off to maybe see Matt,” Rachel said. “Because I feel like they’ve been eyeing each other differently when we’re around them, so I feel like it’s possible. Where else would she have gone?”

“I have had such a bad track record with men,” she told cameras. “I need to trust the person that I potentially want to be with. If it did happen, then of course she’s gonna get to know him more than the other girls, including me.”

Later, everyone traveled to Tennessee, where Rachel confided in the other farmers’ daters about her concerns.

“I’m not dumb,” she said, joking that they weren’t playing games — except “maybe naked Twister.” “Someone’s been been sneaking out and things are not really adding up. We’re confused, we’re hurt, we feel betrayed. So hopefully we get some honesty today.”

When they all gathered for a night of dancing, Matt decided to address the issue. “I want to make sure that these girls know they can trust me and that we’re all on the same page,” he said.

Still skeptical, Rachel said she hoped to “get the answers” she needed. “If I don’t sense some type of honesty, I don’t think I need to be here anymore.”

“Some stuff obviously went down that we’re all aware of, but we can’t continue to move on with this obviously until everyone feels good,” Matt began. “Nothing happened. I don’t know what else to tell you guys. I could see why you think that and why it looked like that, but that’s also not the case.”

Noting that “I really do like Halleh,” Matt insisted that he didn’t know her “any better” than the other four women. Halleh, who claimed she went to journal and watch the sunrise when she was “missing,” added that it was “really hurtful” that the ladies thought she would betray their trust.

“I know why I’m here, and it is to have a relationship with Matt,” she said. “If you guys wanna be friends with me or not, I don’t care anymore. I know my heart. I want to be grown adults about it. If you guys want to talk, just come to me.”

Rachel, however, wasn’t budging. “The story don’t make sense,” she said. “Never did.”

“All I can say is please stay and let me prove myself,” Matt continued. “That way we can get back to just focusing on getting to know each other. It’s been challenging.”

He added: “It’s interesting to see, in a tougher situation, how the girls conduct themselves. I think Rachel had some trust issues going into this. I want everyone to trust me, and I think we just need a little more time.”

After the conversation ended, Matt and Halleh shared a dance, further upsetting Rachel.

“Seeing Matt dance with Halleh, it’s like, with this happening, everyone is pretty much at a disadvantage,” she explained. “I just don’t think it’s fair. I don’t believe Matt. I feel like something happened between Matt and Halleh. Obviously, for a relationship to flourish, you need trust, and right now, I don’t really buy what he’s saying.”

“I honestly want to take Matt to the side and let him know how I feel because I feel like once you have a gut feeling, there’s nothing to go against that,” she admitted.

Once they were alone outside, Rachel confessed her feelings to Matt, telling him it was going to be “a hard conversation.”

“I wanted to pull you to chat obviously because everything that happened has caused me doubt,” she said. “I just don’t like it, and it doesn’t give me a good feeling staying here to try with someone that I truly believe was with somebody else sneaking out and stuff. So I don’t see myself staying on the farm anymore.”

“I understand the way things look and all that, but it’s not the case,” Matt maintained. “In the past, I’ve had a girlfriend, and when there’s problems, you can talk to one girl. It’s already really hard, and then you add four more onto that and it’s like, I don’t really know how to handle this. I don’t want anyone to feel like there’s things going on that are not.”

Although Matt said he “didn’t expect Rachel to want to leave,” he knew she wasn’t going to change her mind.

“It’s sad to see her go for sure, but really at the end of the day, I’m looking for one girl, and these girls are looking for me,” he acknowledged. “I want to make sure that these girls know they can trust me because whoever I end up with here could potentially be my wife.

Before making her exit, Rachel revealed that she was happy with her decision. “I’m gonna leave the farm because I don’t believe him. I don’t think that the person I’m meant to be with is going to shatter their trust with me so early on.”
