Turning the farm into their home! Sydney Errera and Mitchell Kolinsky are making big strides in their relationship and are moving in together more than one year after meeting on Farmer Wants a Wife season 2.
“We are getting ready for the big move,” Mitchell, 28, told Taste of Country in a story published on Sunday, March 16. “So excited to say that and be so confident in it, and be on the same page. We’ve been talking about it, praying about it, and thought about it so much.”
The lovely couple has successfully mastered their long-distance relationship as Sydney, 23, lives in New Jersey and Mitchell lives in the countryside in Tennessee. Now, they won’t have to fly back and forth to spend quality time with each other as they are majorly prepping to make Mitchell’s farm their abode.
“[I am] making those slight improvements at the farm so she feels comfortable,” Mitchell explained to the outlet. “Like redoing a closet, or getting ready for the sheep and redoing the fencing.”
Sydney and Mitchell are keeping track of their tasks by keeping a list on the refrigerator. Mitchell is currently renovating the bathroom and recently installed a luxurious new shower.
That said, Sydney doesn’t need all the bells and whistles of a complete renovation. In fact, the city girl just needs a safe barrier for her two sheep and “somewhere to hang a shirt.”
“I definitely spend a lot more time down here [in Tennessee],” Sydney told the outlet. “I don’t have many responsibilities, I just have my sheep and my family will help me out with them. I’ll fly down here all the time. Tickets are pretty cheap. And we’ll spend some time here.”
Sydney and Mitchell have merged their lives together and integrated into each other’s families, but they are in no rush to walk down the aisle and have a few goals they want to check off their couple goals list.
“The pressure to move, get married, children, we see those comments all the time,” Mitchell admitted to the outlet. “No timeline like our timeline though, which is God’s. We’re just wanting everything to be right.”
Sydney, for her part, would like to “travel more” with her man before he pops the big question.
Mitchell and Sydney quickly became fan favorites of Farmer Wants a Wife season 2 and continued to win over the hearts of viewers as they continued their love story offcamera. Sydney often shares content of their adventures together in Tennessee and New Jersey.
However, the pair made their way to Arkansas after filming the show and falling in love.
“The day after filming the finale, Mitchell and I drove over to Arkansas and spent a few weeks hunting the flooded timbers and rice fields,” Sydney captioned her May 2024 Instagram video. “Got to see a whole new place, met new people and learned a lot more about each other. What’s a better first date than at duck camp?! and to top it off, Cheif retrieved my first Mallord.”
