New images from Fire Country season 3 preview potential love interests for four different characters ahead of the show’s Valentine’s Day return. The story of Fire Country season 3 has continued to weave the professional and personal relationships of Edgewater’s firefighters and those in the department’s Cal Fire inmate program, continually evolving as the series has progressed. This included Bode (Max Thieriot) struggling with his feelings for Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila) throughout the show, as new obstacles and love interests have cropped up for the pair. Plenty of other couples have also had major focuses throughout the series’ run as well.
Now, TVLine has revealed four new images showcasing potential love interests for major Fire Country characters in the coming weeks as its Friday, February 14 episode approaches. In said episode, Eve (Jules Latimer) will reconnect with her ex-girlfriend, Francine (Katie Findlay), last seen in season 3, episode 6. The next image correlates to season 3, episode 13, airing on February 28, which sees Vince’s (Billy Burke) high school love and talented lawyer Renée (Constance Zimmer) stop by for a visit.
The next image, also from season 3, episode 13, shows Jake and new lawyer Violet (Nesta Cooper) sitting on opposite sides of a mascot, with sparks seemingly about to fly. Finally, an image from an unknown future episode shows Gabriela helping Finn (Blake Lee), a photographer with a personality that could ignite a flame between the pair. What Fire Country’s New Love Interests Mean For Season 3
New Relationships Seem Like The Focus Of February’s Episodes
Many characters in Fire Country are looking for stability in their lives, especially as they constantly protect their area of California from devastating wildfires that threaten their livelihood. This has often come in the form of love, with characters weaving in and out of various relationships across the series’ run. These new images are a reflection of these themes, with new faces providing potential romance that could spark between various characters. It’s also fitting for these episodes to begin on Valentine’s Day, giving February episodes a fitting theme.
Out of every relationship showcased in the images, the blooming reconnection between Eve and Francine is the most potent, since they’ve already been shown together in a previous episode. The sparks that fly between them have a history previous episodes have established, making it more likely for the pair to find love with each other again. As for everyone else’s new relationships, there’s still enough mystery about whether long-term bonds can be formed, and if they’ll carry over into a potential Fire Country season 4 in the process.
