First Teaser For Rupaul’s Drag Race: All Stars 10 Confirms ‘Tournament’ Format Twist – And Release Date

The first teaser for RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars 10 has confirmed the spinoff franchise’s biggest cast ever and a gagworthy ‘tournament’ twist, as well as a release date for the series.

When the late, great Tina Turner sang the legendary line, “The big wheel keeps on turning” in her cover of “Proud Mary,” it appears that she was, in fact, referring to the all-consuming RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise.

Season 17 still has to see its top four of Onya Nurve, Jewels Sparkles, Lexi Love and Sam Star fight it out for the crown – but midway through its penultimate episode (12 April), which saw Suzie Toot win the season’s Lip-Sync Lalaparuza, the franchise dropped the first teaser for All Stars 10.

Yes, that’s right, ten seasons of the spinoff, which sees queens brought back to the Werk Room for another shot at the crown (aside from the all winners All Stars 7 and the charity-based All Stars 9).

“The BIGGER, the BETTER,” the teaser promised, along with confirming the largest cast for a season of Drag Race – ever – and a format twist.

“For the first time ever… it’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, tournament of All Stars,” the trailer teased, “With 18 iconic queens competing, winner slays all.”

Of course, fans have no idea what the phrase “Tournament of All Stars” actually means – so we’ll just have to wait and see. But, eagle-eyed viewers have picked up on one of the background graphics of the teaser, which looked a lot like ‘knockout brackets’…

When does RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars 10 premiere?

As confirmed in the initial teaser for the biggest All Stars ever, its tenth season will premiere on 9 May.

or those counting, that’s less than a month away, and will be less than three weeks after season 17 concludes, which currently only has its splashy finale to go.

All Stars 10 will stream internationally on WOW Presents Plus – the dedicated streaming service for all things Drag Race – and on Paramount + in the United States.

Who is on the cast of All Stars 10?

Unsurprisingly, given that it’s only just ‘officially’ been announced, the cast of 18 (!) queens has not been revealed.

Fret not, though, because the Nancy Drews of drag have done it again, and we’ve got the compiled rumoured cast list available for your persual.

For those that can’t be bothered to look through 18 (!!) queens, the highlights include a season 17 queen, about half the cast of season 14, some fan favourites (of course), and a queen that was on All Stars 9. Yeah, really.
