Viewers have seen the last of Martin Grey for now.
Bad news for General Hospital fans of Martin Grey and Michael E. Knight. Soap Opera Digest reported that Knight is out, at least temporarily.
Gone, But Maybe Not For Good
It appears as if Knight is off the canvas for a while. The actor’s last appearance as Martin came on Monday, February 12, when Martin broke things off with Lucy (Lynn Herring). While Digest lists his hiatus as temporary, there’s no word on when Knight will be back on set filming scenes as the southern lawyer.

A while back, Soap Hub reported that Martin wasn’t originally going to have an accent. Knight said, “The first few days I was on the show, I didn’t have the accent. As I was running the lines, I kept coming up with this Virginian accent. I said [to the producers] can I give this a shot?”
Meanwhile, Knight’s former All My Children co-star, Eva La Rue, will show up in Port Charles as Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) mom, Natalia Rogers-Ramirez. Given the timing of things, it’s possible that these two won’t work together, but we suspect they may have overlapped in filming since La Rue kept the news of her appearance on GH private for a while.
