General Hospital May Be Setting Up A New Generation Of Spies

Josslyn and Emma could take over the WSB one day

General Hospital has been in the spy game for decades. The WSB is again becoming a focal point, and Port Charles is about to see a new generation of agents.

That Was Quick

Jack (Chris McKenna) spotted something in Carly’s (Laura Wright) daughter from the moment he met her. He knew Josslyn (Eden McCoy) would make a great addition to the WSB. She is smart, brave, and savvy. His recruitment method of having her go after a serial killer seemed a bit unethical, but he got her into the academy.

Joss went through a few weeks of sparring with her handler, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). She then passed a “test” to see if she would turn Vaughn in after catching him taking a suspicious package. Now “poof,” she’s a spy and off on her first mission, which just happens to be in Port Charles. There is a good chance that her assignment will require her to betray someone she loves. Does Josslyn have what it takes to be a real WSB agent? That is still yet to be determined.

Runs In The Family

Emma (Braedyn Bruner) comes from a family of spies. Both her grandmother Anna (Finola Hughes) and grandfather Robert (ex-Tristan Rogers) were superstars in the WSB. It skipped a generation when her mom Robin (Kimberly McCullough) became a doctor but Emma may have the right stuff for the agency. She could be a great candidate if she hasn’t already joined.

Anna was recently informed that Emma has quite the arrest record. She is a rebellious activist who wants to save the world, so the arrests weren’t completely shocking, but there was one that was sealed. When asked, Anna’s granddaughter said she had signed an NDA and was not allowed to talk about it. This sounds more than a little fishy.

It may be that Jack already recruited Emma to join the agency after the hidden arrest and she is in Port Charles for something other than college. Is she following in Anna’s footsteps and on her way to becoming a super-spy?

Emma and Joss could become partners in catching bad guys. But the WSB is notorious for secrets and double-dealings. They both may be in for more than they bargained for. Then again, they are both strong women who were raised by strong women. They could be running the agency before they know it. Do you think Emma has a secret life in the WSB?
