Even though it has only been a few weeks, a lot has happened since then. Jason’s twin, Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson), ended their relationship with Carly right away, understanding that Jason would always come first.
Despite her heartbreak, Carly knew deep down that Drew was correct. But Carly still had a lot of questions, just like everyone else in Port Charles.
Where Has Jason Morgan Been?
Jason eventually revealed that he had been picked up by the FBI right after he went missing. The blackmailed him into becoming an informant with the goal of bringing down the Pikeman Organization.
But Jason remained tight-lipped about exactly what he was being blackmailed with. It wasn’t long before FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) revealed the truth during a confrontation between himself, Jason and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Jason wasn’t protecting himself at all. Instead, Agent Cates threatened to have Carly arrested for RICO violations if he didn’t work for them.

Carly still has no idea just how far Jason went to protect her from a twenty-year jail sentence. And he’s determined to make sure it stays that way.
For one thing, Carly would blame herself But Jason knows that ultimately this was his choice.
No one forced him to do anything. It anything, Jason would blame Cates for putting him in this position in the first place.
But that’s not all, Carly would never let Jason suffer because of her mistakes. If she knew the truth, she would turn herself in rather than let Jason put himself at risk any longer.
Could Carly Spencer And Jason Morgan Make Love once again?
Carly and Jason have always shared a unique bond. These two have always been friends first and foremost, even though their relationship has occasionally veered into romance.
However, once Carly finds out, it might make their relationship even stronger. It’s possible that being close might provide them the purest manifestation of their love.
Though it probably wouldn’t develop into a full-fledged romance, it would give their lovely but intricate relationship a new dimension.
