Another day, another All Stars; here’s the rundown of rumoured queens ready to compete on the first spinoff of Drag Race France – including a Global All Stars competitor and two Miss Congenialities.
The big wheel keeps on turning and the Drag Race universe keeps on expanding. Along with the recently announced Drag Race: Slaysian Royale, the soon-to-be officially unveiled All Stars 10 and the near-to-climax season 17, there’s one more franchise to feed the hungry.
Drag Race France All Stars was confirmed in late 2024, and will see former Drag Race competitor Nicky Doll take time out of her schedule enraging bigots and performing on the global stage to host returning queens from the French spinoff in their second (or third) shot at snatching a crown.
As with any All Stars season, the drag detectives of the internet have noticed which queens disappeared from social media and in-person gigs at the same time, indicating a filming period for the spinoff.
This list is based purely on speculation, and the cast has not yet been confirmed by World of Wonder or Drag Race France network France 2 – but without further ado, here are the ten queens rumoured to have filmed for the Francophone All Stars.
Elips (season 1, 6th)
One of two Miss Congenialities rumoured to be on Drag Race France All Stars, season one’s Elips is rumoured to be back, back, back again.
Elips didn’t nab a challenge win, but charmed the cast (and viewers) with her polished drag – but nice doesn’t win the crown…
Kam Hugh (season 1, 7th)
The fan favourite from the first season of Drag Race France, and with a challenge win for a Ball challene under her wig, fans are set to be very pleased if Kam Hugh does indeed return for All Stars.
Kam was eliminated by La Big Bertha after the Snatch Game – we wonder whether the pair will ever be on the same cast again…
La Big Bertha (season 1, 5th)
Well, well, well. Funny, that. La Big Bertha just missed out on the top four of season one after landing in the bottom on its penultimate episode, and being sent home by Lolita Banana.
Bertha didn’t win a challenge, and has a bit of a roller coaster of a track record – with two ‘low’ placements, two ‘high’ ones and two lip-syncs.
Magnetica (season 3, 9th)
The first of only two season three girls to (maybe) be on Drag Race All Stars France, and also the girl with the lowest placement on her original season, is Magentica.
Magnetica’s fresh drag perspective immediately made her stand out from the cast, and she was ‘high’ in the season’s premiere episode – but a fumble in the following episode’s Talent Show sent her au revoir.
Mami Watta (season 2, 3rd/4th)
One of season two’s most charismatic queens, Mami Watta made it all the way to the finale alongside Punani (more on that later), just losing out on lip-syncing for the crown.
Mami never won a challenge, so she’s sure to have a fire under her heels upon a rumoured Werk Room return.
Misty Phoenix (season 3, 5th)
The second season three girl to return for Drag Race France All Stars, Misty Phoenix is rising from the ashes like a… well, phoenix.
Misty placed fifth on her season, and never actually snatched a challenge win despite being placed ‘high’ a bunch of times by the judges. Could an All Stars ruturn see her finally get a victory?
Moon (season 2, 7th)
Season two’s Miss Congeniality, Moon voluntarily left the competition during episode six to focus on her mental health, thus ending up in seventh place.
A Werk Room return complete with a fully realised and present Moon could be a sight to behold…
Piche (season 2, 5th)
Piche originally placed seventh on Drag Race France‘s second season, winning a challenge before her elimination – but she returned in episode seven, only to immediately be eliminated (again) the following challenge.
Piche’s unique drag style gained her a heap of praise from the judges and fans alike – a worthy candidate for an All Stars return.
Punani (season 2, 3rd/ 4th)
Just missing out on season two’s top two alongside Mami Watta, Punani ended up third/ fourth with one challenge win for the Snatch Game.
With four season two girls on the cast, it’s sure to be a reunion to remember.
Soa de Muse (season 1, runner-up/ Global All Stars, 9th)
Thee rumoured Drag Race France All Stars queen with most international recognition due to a turn on the very fair and not-rigged Global All Stars, Soa De Muse is rumoured to be on her way to becoming the spinoff’s Jujubee with her third return.
Soa placed as a runner up on season one of Drag Race France, before finishing in ninth as the country’s representative in GAS. Will she live up to her original track record this time?
