River runs red.
The walls are closing in on the River Boys this week in Home And Away, as Cash makes several arrests in relation to the murder of Mangrove River cop Franklin McGrath.
In his dogged pursuit of justice for his slain predecessor – and to prove his worth in his new position in the force – Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) makes a breakthrough.
The officer finds crucial evidence that links one of the senior gang members, Dingo (JK Kazzi), to the killing.
As Cash arrives at the gang’s compound to initiate a raid and make the arrest, gang leader Rory (Joshua Orpin) is notified of what’s going on and races to the police station, where he makes a bombshell statement.
While Cash is shocked, he’s also sceptical of what Rory has to say and why he’s saying it.
Meanwhile, as news of Rory’s arrest in Mangrove River reaches the Bay, Cash’s sister Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) tries to convince her brother that the man she’s been falling for over the past couple of weeks couldn’t possibly be a killer.
“She didn’t see [the arrest] coming – she’s completely shocked and scared,” Jacqui tells TV WEEK.
She adds that Felicity is determined to prove Rory’s innocence, especially as she’s found herself “genuinely falling for him”.
“Cash is just being ridiculous,” she says of her brother’s actions.
Can Felicity convince Cash to free Rory? Or is her new man harbouring a secret far darker than she could ever have imagined.
