Home and Away’s Levi Fowler faces further rejection from his sister Eden on UK screens next week.
Levi is left in no doubt over what Eden thinks of him when she deliberately cuts him out of her engagement celebrations.
Eden’s partner Cash Newman pops the question to her in this Friday’s episode (September 20). Following some uneasy deliberation, Eden eventually agrees to marry Cash.
Before long, Cash and Eden enjoy being centre of attention in Summer Bay as the residents rush to congratulate them.
The happy news appears to have spread very quickly, but Mackenzie Booth worries when she finds out that Eden doesn’t intend to tell Levi herself.
Mackenzie steps in to inform her boyfriend that Eden is engaged to Cash. Levi calls his mum and is saddened when he learns that he and his father were the only people who Eden didn’t bother to tell.
Spotting how much Levi is struggling with Eden’s hardline stance against him, Mac offers to spend the day with him. Levi dismisses this and urges Mac to head into work as planned.
Later, Eden arrives home in good spirits as she discusses wedding plans with her best friend Felicity Newman. Her mood turns sour when she spots Levi leaving a bottle of champagne on the doorstep as an engagement gift.
Levi apologises for killing the vibe, clarifying that he just wanted to discreetly leave the present and go.
Levi awkwardly congratulates his sister and drives off. Seemingly unmoved, Eden tells Felicity that no amount of champagne can make up for the hurt Levi caused when he cheated on his wife Imogen with Mac.
Later, there’s another shift in the Fowler family dynamic when Levi and Eden’s younger sister Abigail arrives in the Bay.
Hailey Pinto has joined Home and Away in the role of Abigail, who was described as “sassy, confident and headstrong” when her casting was announced in July.
When Abigail finds out that Levi won’t be attending Cash and Eden’s engagement party on the beach, she asks him to at least drive her to the celebration.
Eden is so thrilled to see her little sister that she asks Levi to stay for a drink too. Is this a positive turning point – or strictly a one-off?
