It’s no secret that Lainey Wilson and her man, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, are super in love with one another … which could have made it really difficult when she had her first-ever kissing scene on Yellowstone.
How Did Lainey Wilson’s Boyfriend React to Her Kissing Scene on Yellowstone?
Wilson was a guest recently on Taste of Country Nights with Evan Paul, and when we asked that question, Wilson was very open and honest in her response.
The “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” singer chuckled and said, “So I’ll be honest with ya. I mean, he ain’t gonna like me smacking up on nobody.”
The 2023 CMA Entertainer of the Year then took the time in her response to get more serious.
“He also knows that, you know, I have worked really hard for opportunities, and that he’s like, ‘At the end of the day, I love you and you love me, you do what you gotta do.’ It was just, it was work.”
Wilson fans who watched her play Abby on Yellowstone got to see her very first kissing scene. Ian Bohen plays a hunky cowboy named Ryan on the show, and he’s the actor she kissed.
He’s one of the Bunkhouse Boys and (small spoiler alert) during Season 5, he and Wilson’s Abby become romantically entangled.
Is Lainey Wilson Returning to Yellowstone?
When asked if Wilson will be returning to Yellowstone, her reply was one that was to be expected. “Taylor Sheridan, he knows how to tell a story. I keep telling him, I’m like, ‘Put me back in. When y’all do the thing, you better put me back in.'”
Time will only tell if Wilson will indeed make it back onto Yellowstone, but one thing is for sure: Her career is on a rocket ship to the top and is showing no signs of stopping.
