I’m Shocked That These Married At First Sight Season 18 Cast Still Don’t Believe They Were The Problem

There were a bevy of scandals in Married at First Sight season 18, and I’m shocked by several cast members’ tasteless post-show behavior as they’ve demonstrated they don’t believe they’re the problem. MAFS season 18 aired its final “Where Are They Now?” episode in late March 2025, and the cast behavior since is appalling to me. In season 18, the first serious issue came with Ikechi Ojoré, who underscored his red flags and clout chasing intentions with his cruel treatment of his wife, Emem Obot. Then, the season’s big built-up scandal happened.

Madison Myers, who was married to Allen Slovick, was carrying on a secret affair with Michelle Tomblin’s husband, David Trimble, and the cat got let out of the bag. Subsequently, David and Madison officially ditched their spouses in favor of starting a relationship with one another, and then I saw them be rewarded with lots of air time for it. Juan Franco, who was married to Karla Juarez, has been in a world of drama since the show aired, and he’s leaning into it. These aforementioned cast members have done zero self-reflection, and have been consistently deflecting blame post-show.

Madison Myers & David Trimble Never Held Themselves Accountable For Cheating
& They’ve Been Rubbing Their Relationship In Everyone’s Faces

I had the wool pulled over my eyes by David and Madison’s affair, and I’m not happy about it. They weren’t even going to come clean with their spouses and the MAFS season 18 group until Madison was prompted by a producer to air out the relationship. Once their relationship was official and out in the open, they showed up (in matching outfits) to the first group get-together since decision day. Madison tried to speak erroneously for Michelle, and then was extremely catty and combative towards her instead of apologizing and coming to the event with respect.

What truly irked me was that David and Madison’s relationship got a lot of air time after it was revealed, and I thought it was detrimental to the show’s credibility because they directly went against the show’s premise. Adding insult to injury, they came with fake apologies to the reunion and stood proudly on the foundation of their relationship’s genesis.

Now, David and Madison are all over Instagram in inflated shows of affection, as they’ve put their relationship on a pillar.

It’s totally unsavory to me, and I’m shocked they still don’t see anything wrong with how they’ve acted.

Juan Franco Met Someone Before MAFS Season 18
& Went On MAFS As A Business Venture

Juan’s interview 03/27 with Auntie’s Advice

Regarding Juan, he and Karla got into a feud after the show, while the reunion was still airing. Juan made several public Instagram Stories and posts declaring that Karla and her family were blackmailing him and acting immaturely. He claimed Karla was not signing the divorce papers and that she was bullying him. Karla and her family have clapped back and refuted Juan’s attacks. Where I see things going very down hill for Juan’s reputation, lies with the secret he said Karla was blackmailing him with.

Juan recently did an interview with Auntie’s Advice Podcast (via u/Jaded_Science_2512 on Reddit), where he admitted that he met a Brazilian woman before filming and started a relationship with her. He also relayed that he went on the show partially as a business opportunity, which I find abhorrent. Now, Juan is embroiled in even more scandal, as he is trying to get Juancho’s Pancho’s, a business idea he formed with Karla, off the ground, and has been allegedly writing fake reviews for his products, and he’s been getting called out for it.

I don’t see Juan being remorseful about being dubious on the show or slighting Karla of the opportunity to meet the man of her dreams.

I think Juan is selfish, manipulative, and his post-show behavior and social media drama are proving that to me.

Having Juan on Married at First Sight has soured me on production’s casting decisions and has made me dislike Juan’s character.

Ikechi Is Showcasing His Clout Chasing Intentions
Ikechi Boasted About His Musician Lifestyle Post-Show

The final Married at First Sight season 18 cast member who is acting poorly post-season is Ikechi. I believe he went on the show to promote himself as an author and musician. He clearly was not ready for marriage and showcased himself as an opportunist. While Ikechi thankfully has stated he’s not dating, he has been shamelessly promoting himself as a musician and wasted no effort in gushing about all the gigs he’d been doing when he got the spotlight during the reunion. Season 18’s cast post-show has left me stunned by their bold lack of awareness or accountability.
