Sylvester Stallone linked up with Jelly Roll on the set of his show, ‘Tulsa King.’
An unlikely duo was just spotted on the set of Tulsa King.
On Thursday, Sylvester Stallone, 77, posted an Instagram Reel of him and Jelly Roll, 39, having a friendly chat on set of the gangster drama that’s currently in production of its second season.
“Looks like the fantastic singer, JELLY ROLL, just rolled on to the TULSA KING set ! #KeepPunching 🥊 #TulsaKing,” the actor captioned the video.

In the clip, Jelly Roll and Stallone discuss the singer’s fourth consecutive No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart with “Halfway to Hell.” The song is from his 2023 album Whitsitt Chapel.
“I got my fourth No. 1 today, Sly,” Jelly Roll says, repeating, “I got my fourth No. 1 on the radio this morning.”
“Fourth No. 1, unbelievable,” Stallone tells Jelly Roll, holding up four fingers.
“I woke up on a bus in your parking lot with my fourth No. 1. What a f—ing week,” Jelly Roll replies with a grin and laugh.
Everyone on set erupts into applause after hearing the news.
“And we got him,” Stallone says, pointing to Jelly Roll.
Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Stallone) just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.
In April, Stallone was accused of making disparaging remarks directed at Atlanta-based actors working on his show.
It’s unclear what role, if any, Jelly Roll will have on the Paramount+ series.
Jelly Roll reposted Stallone’s post to his Instagram Story, writing, “I can’t believe this happened.”
This isn’t the first time Jelly Roll has been starstruck. He gushed over Garth Brooks in May 2023.
“I got to see Garth Brooks at the ACM Awards and I was so excited I picked him up,” he told ET. “I didn’t mean to and I didn’t know it until the clip went viral.”
After that meeting, Jelly Roll recalled seeing Brooks again in Las Vegas, saying, “I’m watching it, I leave, I go backstage. I get to see him again, he holds his hands out, but he goes, ‘But don’t hurt me this time, big fella.'”
He also got excited over meeting Bruce Springsteen in February.
“I met Bruce Springsteen earlier. I’m doing incredible. I met The Boss, dude. One on one, just me and him in the hallway,” he told ET.
Most recently, Jelly Roll took the stage with Eminem earlier this month.
“When I think about coolest moments of my career, right now at the top, there has to be this thing that I got to go sing with Eminem in Detroit,” he told ET of his performance alongside the GRAMMY-winning rapper at the Live From Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central. “I got to sing ‘Sing for the Moment’ with him, which is a record where he sampled Steven Tyler. I mean, just what an incredible night and I got to go do it in Detroit. It was unreal.”
He continued, “I was giddy, like a child. You could see it all over my performance. Just the kid in me. I thought the camera was off of me. So as soon as I get through singing, I’m like, whoa, I just let this steamroller out. It’s really cool.”
