Jeopardy! Fans Are Convinced They’ve Spotted Clint Eastwood’s Doppleganger On Show

On Monday’s Jeopardy!, fans were on social media talking about the resemblance to Clint Eastwood for one of the contestants

David Erb, a puzzle designer from Seattle, Washington faced off against Dana Schwartz, a writer from Los Angeles, California and two-day champion Jen Feldman, a high school teacher from Brooklyn, New York on Monday’s, September 23, episode. The puzzle designer’s slicked back grey hair, and bearded face had fans thinking he looked like the 94-year-old veteran actor-director, specifically a younger version of him.

Fans of the trivia game show took to social media to discuss the resemblance and also mentioned other people David looked like. On a Jeopardy! subreddit for tonight’s episode, one fan said: “David looks like several different people. Clint Eastwood is one of them. Wish they would focus on him longer so I could figure out who the others are.” A second fan responded to the first, agreeing: “My wife also made the Clint Eastwood observation.”

One fan, echoing the sentiment of Reddit, wrote on X formerly Twitter: “Is it just me or does David on #Jeopardy remind anyone else of a young Clint Eastwood??” Another said: “If Christopher Guest & Clint Eastwood had a son, he’d look like this guy, David, on #Jeopardy right now.”

Clint is a notable actor and director. He is known for making his start on a Western TV show Rawhide and doing Western films in the mid-1960s and playing anti-hero Harry Callahan in the five Dirty Harry films from the 1970s and 1980s.

He went on to direct and has won Best Director and Best Picture for his Western film Unforgiven (1992) and his sports drama Million Dollar Baby (2004). Aside from his acting and directing career, the California native dabbled in politics and Eastwood served for two years as the mayor of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California when elected in 1986. Clint also has nine kids from various relationships.

Fans have time to think about David’s resemblance to Clint as he goes on to see if he’ll be a two-day champion on tomorrow’s Jeopardy!. The Seattle resident dominated tonight’s game consistently and got all three Daily Double right which increased his earning substantial putting him above the two other contestants. Although, he got Final Jeopardy wrong, he dethroned Jen with a final earning of $17,655.
