Kate Ritchie went makeup free as she stepped out for breakfast with her mini-me daughter Mae on Friday.

The actress, 45, cut a casual figure as she spent some quality time with her daughter Mae, nine, whom she shares with her ex-husband Stuart Webb.

Kate opted for a laidback look as she sported black jeans and a dark jumper for the outing while she slung a white jacket over one arm.

She kept comfortable in a pair of white high-top trainers with pink laces and held a coffee cup in one hand as she strolled alongside Mae.

The radio host went makeup free for the outing and styled her brunette locks in a straight fashion loosely cascading over her shoulders.

Her daughter looked every inch Kate’s mini-me as she wore a blue shirt, white jeand and a black jacket for their morning trip together.

It comes just days after Kate’s radio co-host Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli dropped a huge hint that she is set to return to Home and Away.

The star rose to fame playing Sally Fletcher on the hit soap opera between 1988 and 2008, and has often talked publicly about a potential return to Summer Bay.

And earlier this week, her Nova co-star Wippa dropped a huge hint that she will be returning to the show after long-running rumours about her comeback.

‘I know you’re going back to the Bay,’ he told Kate live on air. ‘I’ve seen your emails as I sit next to you in the office.’

Kate jokingly replied: ‘No you don’t, you have bad eyes.’

Rumours of Kate’s return resurged last week when she joined an epic Home and Away reunion at Ray Meagher’s 80th birthday celebrations.

The actress took to her Instagram Stories to give an insight into the fun-filled celebrations, which came two weeks ahead of Ray’s big birthday on July 4.

She joined soap opera stars including Emily Symons, Ada Nicodemou and Laura Vasquez at the huge bash.

Fan favourite Ray has starred as Alf Stewart on Home and Away since the show’s very first episode back in 1988.

He is the sole remaining original cast member on Summer Bay and the longest continuing performer in any Australian TV role.

Last year, Ray confirmed he had signed another five year contract with Home and Away, solidifying his position on the show at least until 2028.
