In a recent interview with TVLine, the British actress revealed that she and the rest of the cast have known how Taylor Sheridan plans to conclude the Paramount hit for years. Reilly admitted that while they aren’t privy to the particulars regarding their characters, she and her co-stars have been told how the show ends.
“I mean, I know the ending of the show, which I’ve known for six years,” she told the outlet. “We all knew what the ending would be. We’re going to film that this summer.”
While Reilly doesn’t know exactly what’s next for Beth, she does have hopes for her sharp-tongued character.
“Peace, I think,” she told TVLine. “As possible as it is f or any of us. Peace requires some digging and some surrender and letting go of old pains and hurts.
I certainly believe that she can find that,” Reilly continued. “Whether or not that’s possible, I don’t know. She’s such a warrior, isn’t she? Her reason to be is to protect. Her reason to be is to fight. But I’d like to see that for her.”
Despite the drama and heartbreak that always seems to follow Beth around, Reilly is hopeful.
“I question potentially whether happiness is allowed,” she shared. “Over the seasons, we’ve been able to see where it might exist. But she’s taken out of it so quickly. Maybe there’s a future where she’s not sort of yanked out of her happiness.”
That does sound nice.
The last half of Yellowstone’s final season is currently filming in Montana. Find out what’s next for Beth and the rest of the Duttons when it returns Sunday, November 10th at 8pm ET/PT.
