A cause of death has been reported just days after the tragic news broke that Christina Sandera, the longtime girlfriend of actor Clint Eastwood, had passed.
The 61-year-old reportedly died of a heart attack on July 18, according to the Monterey County Health Department.
“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” Eastwood said in a statement.
The 94-year-old Eastwood and Sandera reportedly met while she worked as a hostess at his Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant. Hollywood Reporter reported they began dating in 2014.
The site said Eastwood has been married twice before, and also had a handful of other long relationships.
Eastwood’s official X account, formerly Twitter, also announced Sandera’s death and fans responded with love and prayers.
