RuPaul’s Drag Race returned Friday night (January 24) for the fourth episode of season 17!
For this week’s main challenge, the remaining groups were split into groups and had to make a commercial to songs created out of iconic moments from past seasons.
The runway presentation saw the queens wearing looks centered on quilts!
1923 star Julia Schlaepfer joined the judges panel this week, alongside RuPaul, Michelle Visage and Carson Kressley.
Following the challenge and the runway presentation, the bottom two queens were revealed.
Joella found herself in the bottom once again, alongside Kori King. This week’s lip sync was to “Buttons” by Pussycat Dolls featuring Snoop Dogg.
So, who lost the lip-sync and was up for elimination?
Kori King was declared the winner of the lip-sync, leaving Joella in jeopardy.
However, she, of course, had a chance to save herself with “The Badonka Dunk Tank.”
Here’s how it works: Following the lipsync, each eliminated queen has a chance to receive immunity and save themselves from having to sashay away. Queens will choose from 10 levers and if they pick one of the two levers that dunks Michelle Visage, they get to remain in the competition. If not, they will be eliminated.
Joella pulled a lever, but unfortunately Michelle Visage was not dropped into the tank, and she had to sashay away.
