RuPaul’s Drag Race Star Kandy Muse Reveals Real Reason For Tamisha Iman Untucked Fight

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Kandy Muse has revealed the rea ‘tea’ on why season 13 co-competitor Tamisha Iman ‘was so hot’ going into the Untucked that featured their iconic fight.

“If you don’t have star quality, get the f**k outta here!”

It was the line heard around the world; it got RuPaul’s Drag Race companion show Untucked nominated for an MTV Award for Best fight in 2021, it solidified eventual All Stars 8 runner-up Kandy Muse as a TV villain for the ages – and it was damn good TV.

So the legend goes that during season 13’s ‘Bag Ball’, Kandy Muse was declared safe, with Tamisha Iman landing in the ‘low’ spot. But when the girls who had received critiques returned to the Untucked lounge, conversation quickly escalated to a shouting match between Kandy and Tamisha after the latter called her “arrogant”.

But in a YouTube video with season 15 ‘villain’ Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Kandy has revealed some tea – that production had baited Tamisha into listening to the safe girls critique her look.

“The reason why Tamisha was so hot and came in hot [to Untucked],” Kandy explained, was because, “[Production] had [Tamisha] waiting by the door while we were critiquing the girls.”

Continuing, she said, “So production had us talk about the girls, while the girls were outside hearing us, and I didn’t know that, so she came in … but she had heard us, and she was hot!”

And herstory was made.

Kandy finished as a runner up on season 13, and then in the same position on All Stars 8 – and has since starred in Drag Race spinoff Slaycation, and alongside Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard on House of Villains.

And for those wanting more Mistress Isabelle Brooks, you may not be waiting long, because the queen is rumoured to be on All Stars 10 – which is set to kick off in less than a month.
