The Academy Award winner has just revealed his new partnership with Keurig’s Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. Kevin is working with the brand to create a series of blends that reflect his personal tastes while also appealing to his loyal fanbase. What’s more, folks will get to try his coffee out soon, as the first selection, called “Horizon Blend,” will be available for purchase starting December 18.
“Green Mountain Coffee Roasters and I share the belief that when you’re passionate about something, you go to great lengths to make it a reality, no matter what it takes,” Kevin exclusively tells Good Housekeeping. “Together we undertook a journey of discovery, delving into several different ideas; ultimately landing on what is Horizon Blend. The partnership was a perfect representation of a committed group of people working tirelessly together to make something that we could all be proud of.”
As part of the partnership with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, the company will also donate $100,000 to Root Capital, a non-profit organization that works to help agricultural businesses become more prosperous in rural communities.
Kevin’s partnership with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters marks his first brand campaign in 30 years, and let’s just say, he’s pure gold in the ad (you can watch it below, and don’t miss our exclusive behind-the-scenes footage above).
As for why he chose to partner with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Kevin explained that it had to do with the brand’s thoughtful approach to the coffee-making process.
“The Green Mountain Coffee Roasters team’s unwavering dedication to responsible sourcing and great tasting coffee made this an authentic partnership for me,” he says. “To be able to harness this passion is something I’m incredibly grateful for. And we have some more great things coming that I think everyone’s really going to like.”
