If you haven’t yet finished watching the 2204 season of Farmer Wants A Wife, look away now.

Ahead of this week’s Farmer Wants A Wife reunion, we reveal which of the rural bachelors discovered real romance in 2024.

How the bachelors wrapped up Farmer Wants A Wife 2024

David and Emily

Things have moved fast for David McMahon and Emily Gordon. Just weeks after Farmer Wants A Wife 2024 finished filming, she moved to his Queensland farm, landing jobs as a dance teacher and teacher’s aide in a nearby town.

And now the cute couple are getting hitched!

Apple farmer David, 30, grins, “It’s everything that I wished for when I went into the experience and it’s incredible. She’s that person who just makes my life better in every way.”

He’s thrilled that his bride-to-be is already acting like a local in their remote community of Pozieres, saying, “I have lived here for 30 years and she’s already introducing me to new people!”

Emily, 27, moved to the farm with her dog Bailey, whom David has been training for rural life.

She shares, “He was very patient with Bailey, who’s living his best life, running around the farm every day with two other awesome dogs.”

Emily only applied for Farmer Wants A Wife after an ad featuring David popped up in her Facebook feed and she says the whole experience still feels a bit unreal. “When you reflect on it, it’s really unbelievable – the fact that I’ve met my person and fallen in love.”

Matt and Olivia

Matthew Young and Olivia Benic kept a big secret for nine months. They announced only recently that they’d welcomed a baby together with a surprise family photo on Instagram.

In a joint post, the pair wrote, “After 286 days of carrying you, eight hours of labour without pain relief and what has felt like a lifetime of waiting, our little bubba entered our little family happy and healthy. Thank you to our close friends, family and baggy clothes for helping us to enjoy this wonderful experience privately.”

New South Wales sheep farmer Matt and Sydney admin officer Olivia, 25, haven’t revealed their baby’s name or sex. Regardless, they’ve been flooded with supportive messages. Farmer Wants A Wife co-star Claire Saunders posted, “Oh, my goodness. Congratulations, so happy for you both.”

Brenton and Sophie

Brenton Kuch and Sophie Holcombe declared their love on Farmer Wants A Wife, but after they’d lived together for six months, the Gold Coast social media manager revealed she had split from the Victorian cattle rancher.

“It’s a disappointing ending, but I’ve learned a lot about myself and my values,” posted Sophie, 25. “I wish Brenton all the best and want to thank everyone for their support, especially my family and friends.”

Brenton, 26, has since sparked rumours he has hooked up with runner-up Rachel Boothman, posting pictures of the pair at a country music gig, but the Perth promo assistant, 22, insists they’re “just really good friends”.

Meanwhile, Sophie is now dating professional triathlete Max Dyball.

Brad and Clare

Having moved in together on his farm in remote Cootamundra shortly after the series finale, Brad Jones and Clare Hockings welcomed their first child, a son named Roy Grahame, in December.

“We never would have met, let alone started a family if we didn’t go on the Farmer Wants A Wife journey,” the cattle herder, 34, reflects, hinting that a wedding could be next. “She keeps putting the pressure on to propose!”

But Sydney preschool teacher Clare, 27, insists, “I just want us to have the same last name at some point!” Of motherhood, she adds, “Roy is a really good baby. If he’s really tired, he’ll cry, but otherwise he’s just happy to be with us, chilling and smiling. In the very early days, the lack of sleep was the hardest thing, but now he only wakes up twice a night, which is way more manageable.”

Andrew and Claire

Andrew Coleman and Claire Saunders were so certain they’d found their fairytale ending that she moved in with him only months after Farmer Wants A Wife finished filming. Later, she announced their engagement. “I said yes to the love of my life!” the bride-to-be posted on social media. “So absolutely grateful that I wake up to this life every day. You are my best friend.”

But weeks ahead of their big day, the pair called off their nuptials. Tasmanian truck driver Claire, 38, told fans, “Andrew and I have had to cancel our wedding due to reasons out of our control, but we are both OK… We all just need a little breathing space. There will be no farming content from me for the foreseeable future.”

New South Wales sheep farmer Andrew, 41, posted, “Despite all the love and effort we gave, sometimes things just don’t work out. Living together brought its challenges and we realised our paths weren’t meant to stay intertwined. It’s sad that our relationship ended, but I stand tall knowing we gave it our all.”
