Sylvester Stallone is a man’s man. He is also a girl dad. Because of this, Sylvester is very protective of his daughters and has never felt that any of their boyfriends are worthy of them. This left Sylvester with nothing nice to say about anyone who had dated his daughters.

It is not that Sylvester does not want his daughters to find love. It is just that he does not want them to face heartbreak. This has led his daughters to admit the sad truth about dating, which is that it is impossible to do with Sylvester as a dad. Even with all of Sylvester’s daughters having moved out, dating is still difficult with Sylvester and Jennifer Flavin leaving California to be closer to their girls. No matter how old Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet Stallone get, Sylvester cannot stop himself from slamming his daughters’ boyfriends.

We will explore why Sylvester Stallone could not help himself from slamming his daughters’ boyfriends. Then Sylvester’s methods of determining if he daughters’ potential boyfriends are worthy of them will be looked at, as well as how Scarlet’s boyfriend may have gotten on Sylvester’s good side.

Sylvester Stallone Could Not Help Himself From Slamming His Daughters’ Boyfriends

Since The Family Stallone aired in 2023, Sylvester has found himself being questioned during interviews about his methods when it comes to vetting his daughters’ boyfriends. With every interview that Sylvester does, he makes sure to get in jabs about the men who have come through his doors to date Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.

By and large, Sylvester has nothing nice to say about those who have been brave enough to ask out any of the Stallone girls, but has yet to be verbally abusive to them, as he reportedly has been rude to extras on set. In fact, Sylvester sees them as more of a nuisance and one of the worst things he has to deal with when it comes to his daughters.

“I’m sorry if you wanna hear the truth, your boyfriends are an ick.”

Sylvester does not mind letting his feelings be known when it comes to who his daughters date either. The more intimidating he can be, the happier Sylvester is. This has stopped boys from kissing his daughters when they were teenagers and is so effective, can be done without saying a word.

During the first episode of The Family Stallone, according to Business Insider, Sistine admitted that when trying to date, it is nearly impossible. She shared an incident where Sylvester scared off a boy who was going to give a first kiss. Not only did the kiss not happen, but Sistine never saw him again.

“The first time a boy came over to meet my parents, he’s going in for the first kiss,” Sistine explained. “And I was so nervous, but I was excited.”

Sistine went on to say that the boy asked what was up on the balcony, and it was none other than Sylvester.

“It was my dad standing on the second floor balcony, backlit so you just see a silhouette. He’s so cinematic in the most unnecessary reasons, and let me tell you, the kid jumps in the car, went down the driveway,” Sistine said. “Never saw him again.”

Intimidation is one of the tools that Sylvester uses when meeting his daughters’ dates. It is so effective, the way Sylvester sees it, there really are not any other tools necessary.

Sylvester Stallone Has Methods To Determine If His Daughters’ Potential Boyfriends Are Worthy

Sylvester is the king of intimidation when it comes to meeting his daughters’ dates. He makes it clear that he does not like them, or, at best, is indifferent to them, all while trying to determine if any men walking through his door are worthy of his girls.

One of the tried and true methods that Sylvester has when trying to determine if a man has any qualities redeemable enough to date one of his daughters is a simple handshake. But the handshake is not just a firm one. It is one that shows the potential boyfriend that Sylvester is the man of the house and is serious about keeping any man in his place when it comes to his daughters. The handshake is what Sylvester calls his “squeeze test” and there has yet to be a man who can hold his own with the handshake.

“I go, ‘Come on man, if you’re going to date a Stallone you’ve gotta have more than these three lame bananas like foam rubber. You’ve gotta bring it pal.'”

While Sylvester claimed to be kidding about the “squeeze test” and even told those brave enough to come back for a second date that it was all just a joke, the handshake is an intimidation move nonetheless.

Sylvester also claimed that he does his best to not have any contact with the men dating his daughters. Instead of getting to know them, Sylvester chooses the strong silent approach. Sylvester stays so silent, in fact, that he admits to “ignoring” those dating Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.

The ignoring is so obvious that Jennifer has even commented on it, asking if Sylvester recognized that he went out of his way to say nothing to a guest in their home. Sylvester, very matter-of-factly admitted, “Yeah. I did.”

Despite how hard Sylvester has worked to scare off dates or those looking to get into relationships with his daughters, it appears that his tactics have not worked on at least one person. That person is Scarlet’s boyfriend.

Scarlet Stallone’s Boyfriend May Have Gotten On Sylvester Stallone’s Good Side

Despite how hard Sylvester may have worked to try to get Scarlet’s boyfriend to disappear, Louis Masquelier-Page may just be one who permanently sticks around. Not only do Sistine and Sophia adore Louis, but Jennifer does as well. As such, when Louis comes to visit, Sylvester has to be on his best behavior.

During the second season of The Family Stallone, Scarlet brings Louis around given they have been together for nearly a year. During this time, Sylvester is looking for things that Louis does that he can call him out on. But, as much as he tries, there appears to be nothing.

In a move that surprises everyone, Sylvester attempts to make breakfast for the family. According to Jennifer, Sylvester has not cooked since they dated decades ago. As such, the attempt at cooking is looking like an olive branch being extended to Louis.

When the breakfast turns out burned and looks inedible, Louis, the smart man he is, says he will eat it. This move impresses Sylvester and may just make it so that Louis is the first man to survive Sylvester’s intimidation tactics, his ignoring, and attempts to scare him off.

Louis may be the only man Sophia, Sistine, or Scarlet have dated that will never be slammed when it comes to talking about them on national television or in the reality show. However, that all hinges on Louis not breaking Scarlet’s heart which is not something that even Sylvester can control as much as he wants to. But if it happens, Louis will want to disappear as Sylvester has made it clear that if Scarlet’s or any of his daughters’ hearts break, Sylvester will come after them. Likely, not really, but is it worth chancing?
