Sylvester Stallone couldn’t keep his hands off his wife, Jennifer Flavin, while chatting with fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and a group of woman ahead of Justin Timberlake’s invite-only concert at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas.
As the longtime couple, who wed in 1997, mingled around the luxury hotel before the SexyBack crooner took the stage, the three-time Oscar nominee, 77, was seen standing behind his spouse with his hands around her waist.
Flavin, who is the mother to Stallone’s three youngest kids Sophia, 27, Sistine, 25, and Scarlet, 21, looked nothing short of sensational in a off-the-shoulder black gown with sexy lace detailing just above her midriff and a low-cut neckline.
She opted to style her blonde tresses in loose waves, which cascaded down her shoulders as she sipped a cold beverage.
For the star-studded occasion, Stallone looked dapper in a black tuxedo, white dress shirt and bow tie.
The inseparable pair ultimately rushed to their seats, moments before Timberlake’s performance, after catching up with several friends among the crowd.
The audience was full of familiar faces, including Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Ivanka Trump, Cher and Tom Brady.
They were supporting the launch of the launch of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which is located on the Las Vegas strip.
The 150,000-square-foot resort/casino promises a ‘new era of luxury hospitality’ with world-class dining, nightlife and entertainment.
The Fontainebleau towers over Vegas at 737ft-(224m) tall, boasts 3,644 ‘exquisite’ hotel rooms and suites, according to the website, and is certain to become the go-to stay for Hollywood’s elite.
At $3.7billion (£2.9billion), the Fontainebleau is second in cost to the $4.3billion (£3.4billion), 66-story Resorts World that opened in June 2021 a short walk down Las Vegas Boulevard.
It is the tallest occupiable building in Nevada and second-tallest in Las Vegas, behind the nearby Strat tower observation deck at 1,149 feet (350 meters).
The name of the 3,644-room, 737ft-(224m) tall Fontainebleau recalls Miami Beach’s icon among destination resorts, which Soffer’s family acquired in 2005. But the project in the Mojave Desert has its own lore about starts, stops and changing ownership since work began in 2007.
Stallone and Flavin managed to reconcile, last year, months after she filed for divorce in late August 2022.
On August 19, 2022, Jennifer filed for divorce from him, alleging that he ‘engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets, which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estates.’
The actor denied her allegations at the time.
Following the filing, Jennifer told People: ‘I’m sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone.
‘While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters. I ask for privacy for our family as we amicably move forward.’
Days before the divorce filing, DailyMail.com revealed that the actor had a giant tattoo of Flavin on his right bicep covered up with a picture of Butkus, Rocky’s bull mastiff from the hit movies.
There were claims that their Rottweiler Dwight was the immediate cause of the break-up. Stallone dotes on Dwight — the name of his character in a new TV drama series, Tulsa King — and has posted gushing videos and photos of the pet on social media.
Family insiders told website TMZ that the actor wanted the dog to help protect the family at their homes in Los Angeles and Palm Beach, Florida.
But — while they already own other dogs — Flavin didn’t want a huge Rottweiler in the house and strenuously objected. Their disagreement over Dwight allegedly caused a huge row that brought up other issues between the couple, culminating in her decision to press the nuclear button.
Ultimately, Stallone had a ‘reawakening’ that his ‘love for’ his family is what’s ‘more valuable than anything.’
‘It takes precedence over my work and that was a hard lesson to learn,’ he told The Sunday Times in October 2022.
Stallone also confessed to the outlet that he regretted focusing on his career over his children in some cases.
‘I didn’t pay enough attention when they were growing up,’ said Stallone, who is father to daughters Sophia Sistine and Scarlet with Flavin; and with ex Sasha Czack, son Seargeoh, 44, and the late Sage Stallone, who tragically passed away at 36 following a heart attack in July 2012.
He added: ‘I was so career-oriented and now I go, “OK, I don’t have that much runway up ahead and I want to start asking them about their lives.”
‘I ask them about their day and they started at first a little monosyllabic. Then I heard one say, “I was just thinking about you.” Oh my God. I’ve never heard that before in my life. When a daughter knows you care, she’s there forever.’
