After a whirlwind weekend in Paris to support Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympics, Tom Cruise was spotted returning home to London.
The 62-year-old actor was spotted at the Opening Ceremonies, a swimming relay event and a women’s gymnastics event over the weekend.
He was seen taking selfies with fans and even giving Lady Gaga a hug, after she performed during the Opening Ceremonies.
The Mission: Impossible star returned home to London via helicopter after a weekend of Olympic action.
The outing comes just a few weeks after he was spotted at Wimbledon, seated just a few spots down from fellow A-lister Julia Roberts.
Cruise was spotted wearing a stylish white polo shirt with black aviator-style sunglasses and a silver watch.
He completed his look with dark blue jeans and black boots as he returned home to London.
The actor has lived in London since 2021, nearly a decade after he split from his third wife Katie Holmes.
Earlier this month, he was spotted filming a death-defying aerial sequence for the eighth Mission: Impossible movie, which currently doesn’t have a title.
The film reunites the actor, who plays spy Ethan Hunt, with longtime collaborator Christopher McQuarrie, who has directed the last four M:I movies.
He will also reunite with longtime co-stars Ving Rhames, who has starred alongside Cruise in every M:I movie as Luther Stickell, and Simon Pegg, whose Benji Dunn debuted in 2006’s Mission: Impossible III.
Also returning is Henry Czerny (Eugene Kittridge), Vanessa Kirby (The White Widow), Pom Klementieff (Paris), Hayley Atwell (Grace), Shea Whigham (Jasper Briggs), Esai Morales (Gabriel) and Frederick Schmidt (Zola Mitsopolis).
Franchise newcomers include Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman, Katy O’Brian, Indira Varma, Holt McCallany and Janet McTeer.
Cruise is also set to reunite with his Edge of Tomorrow and American Made director Doug Liman for what would be a historic project, teaming up with Space X.
The untitled film – which Cruise and Liman wrote with McQuarrie – would be the first in Hollywood history to be actually filmed in outer space.
He also had a highly-anticipated sequel to Edge of Tomorrow in development though there is no indication when that may move forward.
The actor also has another McQuarrie film – The Gauntlet – in pre-production, starring alongside Scarlett Johansson.
