“Tulsa King” will return to Paramount+ on Sept. 15 as Sylvester Stallone fights to defend his growing criminal empire in Season 2.

“Tulsa belongs to me now,” he proclaims in a 30-second teaser trailer that also sees Sly beating people up and landing in jail.

In Season 2, Stallone’s Dwight works with his crew to fight off looming threats from the Kansas City mob and one powerful local businessman. “Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs,” reads the logline. “Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York.”

Created by “Yellowstone” mastermind Taylor Sheridan, “Tulsa King” also stars Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Tatiana Zappardino, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, Domenick Lombardozzi, Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany.

Sheridan executive produces the series with Terence Winter, Craig Zisk, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Sylvester Stallone, Braden Aftergood and Keith Cox. It’s distributed by Paramount Global.

While filming Season 2 of “Tulsa King” in Atlanta, Stallone was accused of creating a “toxic environment” on set by making disparaging comments about background actors, among other allegations. Casting director Rose Locke was said to have quit the series. A representative for Stallone declined to comment. Paramount+ was said to be aware of the allegations.

SAG-AFTRA released a statement concerning the accusations, and a source close to production told Variety that the matter had been addressed on set by department heads, with an emphasis being put on the need for a respectful workplace.
